Cool! Nice one Anita! I never would have thought of that!

Yeah, I thought about an alien, but yours is very clever! . Cool.

And what a great collection of boys designs till now. I am not sure I can figure out any designs to do (or find the time and make my boy sit still) but I really like this challenge. It is great to see all the different new designs

For this dragon, the sweetest shy little boy was my model. I used snaz sparkling turquoise and electric blue as a base

Then used electric blue and for the eyeshadow and linework details, then began the black detail above the brow

Snaz white for the horns, fangs and horn hump high lights with some black outlines

That shy little guy simply vanished beneath my brushes and to our amazement, he became the fierce dragon to da MAX!

This was done on the fly at a restaurant gig and he definitely brought the house down that night! Amazing what a little paint can do! LOL!!!

Sorry... I was unaware I was doing a Wolfe Brother's design. I don't have any of their books, and have not attended any of their classes. That being said, it is not an original design. I did find a red car on facebook, although I know I did not find it on the wolfe brother's page... So I was attempting to modify another design.

This contest is for original designs. So I am taking my submission out. I didn't mean to upset anyone. But in the future if I say or post anything that bothers anyone, feel free to contact me about it. I don't bite, and I would do the same with you. In fact, I have done the same with some of you.

And no, please don't take this as I am angry. I'm not. It's a face painting contest. It's not life or death. I enjoy what I do immensely.

Hey yeah your both right I need to get onto this one right away. I've thought since doing the course with the Wolfe Bros I could use their fur tecnique to make my Taz more furry looking. Ok now to bribe my eldest son Cody..

Materials:
Neon orange
Neon yellow both TAG
Red, Black & white snazaroo
sponges, #3 round

Sponge basic shape with neon orange
add yellow highlights with a sponge
add red to above the eye & just under it & along the yellow highlights
outline the whole design in black & add defined features eg: teeth & nose creases
add white dots to yellow highlighted areas & fill in teeth.

Oh, please do!!!!!! I loves it!

Materials:
Snaz black & red
Paradise light pink
Wolfe white
TAG skin tone
#2 round brush smashed so that the bristles are all splayed to paint perfect fur effect (thanks to the Wolfies for this tip)
#3 round brush for outlinning

Paint basic shape with snaz black & #3 round & #2 smashed brush & skin tone TAG around muzzle area
Fill in ears with paradise pink & #3 brush
Using #3 round outline mouth & teeth
Fill in the rest of the face with smashed #2 brush creating fur effect
Go back & fill in muzzle area with skin tone add dots & whiskers
Now fill in mouth area with red & paint the white in the teeth.

This new Tazzie Devil is not as black as my original cause I was using the smashed #2 brush to get the real fur effect this time. My original one I just sponged black to fill in the face hence creating a more dense black.

I'm lovin' all the new designs! The car is great.. watch out you don't run over that bush Clayton

Totally loving these designs! I think it was a brilliant idea to keep the skulls, tigers, and spideys out, just look at all this great stuff being submitted!

I am loving this months challenge.

Materials:
Snaz black, red
Paradise white
TAG skin tone
Sponge & #3 round brush

Sponge on skin tone to lower part of face
With red outline Mario's hat with #3 brush
With white outline circle on hat then place red M in the centre of the circle leave this to dry completely
Using black & #3 round brush do his mo, eyebrows & sideburns
Completely fill in the hat with red, complete the circle with white
Finally add washed out black to hat edges to give a 3D effect (I'm stilling learing & practicing this technique)
