this is the end result

started sponging with a combination of dFX white and metallic silverwhite eulenspiegel

then sponged DFX lightbrown/bronze (superstar) and darkbrown (dFX)

added pastelpink (dFX) for the tongue

added black (partyXplosion) outlines and details with a round brush no 2 and 5

added white details (dFX) with a round brush no 2 and put some vaseline on the nose and tongue to make it shine...

I noticed that too when I saw the pics...

@ FantasyFunFaces...I bet some stunning ones will follow!...I always find it hard to make a simple design...just sponge...a few lines, some fading...done...hat never works for me... Neutral

Okay this one didn't turn out as well as I wanted....this is supposed to be a terrier...but looks more like a Mike Myers' character from a bad Cat in the Hat movie!!!

I applied Wolfe FX white with sponge in the basic shape as shown (pic 1)
Used DFX Black to do outline eyes and detail and add the nose using a #0 round (pic 2)
Used Snazaroo light brown and more black for the 'stach area with a fan brush (pic 3)
Also used Snaz red for the tongue and pink for the bow...which I didn't like the way it turned out.

On to the next submission.......

Using all Snazaroo paints on this one....
with a sponge I applied white in the wishbone shape from the forehead down to either side of the nose and upper lip

also using the sponge apply black to either side of the face allowing for the ears

I went back and added white to the chin and outlined which seemed to give the doggie a more defined look.

After adding the pink at the ears and tongue I outlined the entire design with black using a #1 round brush, and using quick sweeping strokes to give the effects of hair.

I think it may have scared my dog...but don't we look like twins???
