face painting class

Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:57 pm by Jessalou

I have a family that wants to hire me to have a face painting party. Where I would teach kids ages 8-up simple painting skills. How do I do that? How much do I charge per child? How do I set out the paints for them to use? Is there a way to take a portion on my paint and put it in a different container so they can all of a small portion? Any help is appreciated.

Has any of you taught a face painting summer camp for older kids? I have been asked to host a face painting learning camp for ages 10-18 and teach some basics of face painting. I am looking for ideas.

Brands of facepaint

Fri Sep 07, 2018 8:51 am by violet_whisper

Hello everyone. Ive been painting for 6 years but still struggling to find a UV paint that i like. A lady told me in passing about one that she thought was good and im sure she said it had the word tribal in the brand name... tribal …

Cleaning Brushes

Mon Sep 11, 2017 5:27 pm by stunningaxis

What do you gals/guys do for cleaning brushes during a job?

I read a thread about using multiple cups of water. Right now I just have lots of brushes and usually just use one of each color so there is no mixing of paints. Do you gals clean your brushes after each person, and do you use the same brush with multiple colors?

What works best to get the paint off them - I find that when I do try to …

Fri May 11, 2018 5:06 pm by Korene

Hi FPF!

I am new to air brushing and am planning to do a grad party.
What brand is recommended?
As I understand it....
Endura lasts 3-7 days but harder to take off
Proaiir lasts 2-3 days much easier to remove
What is the preferred for the teens?
Thanks for your feedback.

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to figure out a new situation for when face painting, I've tried both sitting, having the child sit & me stand and either way I am always leaning forwards & my back is killing me. I do some long 8 hour market events so I am trying to find something new that will help me.

I currently have this chair https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/90404879/

Help with getting a potential gig

Mon Dec 11, 2017 12:13 pm by PaisleyPeacock

I stopped by a local shopping center to say hi and introduce myself, and mentioned that I had seen they would have a Santa, and wondered if maybe we could work together. They said they had very little marketing budget left for this event. I asked about PPF, and the lady lit up. I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss if or how this would work.
Promising- they said very little budget, which is …
