Really fast, under 30 seconds designs.

Here are examples of very quick designs, all of which can be done in less than 30 seconds. Hope it helps those in need of quick stuff.


I used a small filbert brush for the dragon and snake, and split cakes for the spider, peace sign, rainbow, flowers, and eye design. To speed up the flowers, don't bother double loading the brushes, instead swipe them along a split cake; when doing the petals, don't lift your brush up in between each petal.

The muzzle is just a basic muzzle which can be done very quickly instead of a full cat face.

For the heart I use a wider filbert, so that I'm able to get a larger heart in just two strokes. These look great with split cakes. The spider was the idea of someone else, though their name escapes me at the moment.. someone on the split cake group on Facebook.

That's what I would typically use, but all I could find when I painted these earlier was a square one!

Those are really great! I have wanted to re-do my festival board with tiered pricing, but was having trouble comming up with cute designs for the bottom price point. Thank you for the examples- now that's somewhere to start.

Ashley, you are awesome, thank you so much for these! I've been trying to come up with cute quick designs and these are great! I do one similar to your shooting star but with a heart at the top and it is really popular.

no problem folks! I do a lot of events where I have to paint a lot of kids very quickly. Most of the stuff on my boards at these events take 30 seconds or less.
