I love all the great puppies, & I agree the blue dog is not creepy... the original painting is what's creepy & that makes the face painted version amazing!

How many steps should there be in a step-by-step..?

Tinderbox dog design:
Use dark brown for the box, brown for the big dog, gold inside the box and for the middle dog, white for around big dogs eyes, as "moustache"/mouth for big and middle, plus for whole small dog. Orange as coins in the box, light green for middle dogs eyes and light blue for the small dogs. Used a #8 round sable for it all.
Line the whole thing in black with liner brush.

All colours by DFX.
