Re: Post Submissions Here!
Okay Here gos. My first contest entry.
Tools: Flat brush 3/4", Flat angular 1/2", Round 1,2, and 8. High density sponge.
Paints: Wolfe- sea green, Snazaroo- Royal blue, Diamond FX- white, black and lavender.
Step 1: Apply black FX paint on forehead with 3/4" brush. Continue line in downward motion with black 1/2" angular brush. Carry line over the nose.
Step 2: Apply purple lavender FX paint with sponge in the inclosed area. Make strokes, up and down, with the sea green color and 8" round brush.
Step 3: Continue to fill in the lines where they look even on each side. Adding Snazaroo royal blue and black Fx lines to add more color.
Step 4: Paint sea green wolfe diamond shapes on to the black upper lining on the for head. Out line these with white FX paint to look like cystals. Add some white FX spots on the inner eye and lower black lines to add alittle extra.
My design was taken from my daughters doll's dress. I thought it was so beautiful and colorful. Hope my first try come out well.
Fingers crossed

I've never been a fan of Vera Bradley, but I did like this pattern, and thought of it immediately for this challenge.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
This was inspired by my daughters jacket, which I will post a pic of later cause the little booger wore it to school.
I used Tag Lilac Pearl with Wolfe met. pink & paradise turquoise to sponge a background. Then 1ith a #4 round I drew random squiggles with tag pr. pearl. I then painted a daisy with d. pink paradise, dfx black and white, between my eyes and randomly on my body.
Using the same colors as before, I mad a butterfly for my face, and a couple on my chest. Some added detail to the swirls and some stars until I felt finished. I wanted to add some jewels and get rid of the purple background swirl that went across my face, but I got hungry! LOL
