I love the cherry blossoms Tilly. Your lines are so crisp and the details in the flowers are purty!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Lovely inspired work everyone.
Had a look in my wardrobe this arvo and found this old top. Had a play and this is what happened.
I used a Tag Berry Split, DFX white and black. A 3/4 inch flat, a no 4 round and a script liner.

Well it's been a while. I used to love entering every comp but life has been a bit full on of late so it was quite nice to just paint for the fun of it today.
Tools used:
Paradise teal, Wolfe black and white, Tag pearl purple, Tag unicorn split, Sponge, Lowell Cornell #2, #4, +liner brush, eyeshadow brush, White glitter, sworavski gems.
Inspiration: my cool new skin from decalgirl.com on my cool new macbook pro
My design:
Basically, sponge on base, draw on black design, draw on white design, highlight black with white and vice versa. Glitter it up. Add gems. Paint lips. Draw on flowers. Highlight. Get your model to work it work it baby!!!

Rae, I really like those white lines, pulled the whole designs together and gives it a Art Deco look.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ok, this is my take on my husbands poker shirt. I always LOVE looking at it and wanted a casino-type face anyhow. I think you could do a roulette one with the wheel part as a top mask to...but anyways, back to this submission.
Poker Face
Used- TAG black, TAG white, Snazaroo green, red, and blue
A...small flat brush and a Small liner....#2 I think.
(I SHOULDVE used a sponge for the base green, but I didnt realize I needed the green until AFTER I Painted the cards!! LOL)
I also forgot to take my first photo of all the white, so the first one is the cards plus details. sorry to jump, but you can still figure it out.
Husbands Poker Shirt
the first step is blocking out the white for the 'your deal' and the 'flop' three and the stack of chips
then add in card details for 'nut hand' (means best from flop!), Aces are always good
color in chips with blue, green, red outline cards and add flourishes
this is where i forgot the green 'casino' table cloth stuff. so i just brushed it in around everything and outlines the chips. (i shouldve sponged the green from step one!!) i needed a way to tie it all together and I thought the flourishes would work so i added the green. it helped- alot
it seemed to need a tiny bit underneath, so i brushed it in as well. next time im sponging it, i liked this face.
the finished piece!! yay!! dont fold, you win!!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
My inspiration was the pattern on these easter eggs.
I had made the easter eggs in the last year.
It is a traditional Sorbian art, similar to batik made.
material:
burgundy (vine-red)Eulenspiegel
DFX white
DFX black
brown Kryolan
old red Kryolan
regular yellow TAG
Round brush: 0, 2
Flat brush,
Special brush (photo) -name? (You can also use it for animal fur)
First Prime with brown.
And then just paint many teardrops and points. Under the yellow color I first painted with white. The lace I painted with a special brush and round brush (with thinned black).

added supplies
thank you to my daughter, Kassidy, for being a patient model. Her rewards included extra time to stay up after bedtime and the prize money if i win.
Supplies: #4 round brush, pouncer, sponge half, dotter, qtips large blush brush, diamond FX black, gold, metalic blue, metalic pink, metalic purple, paradise white and teal, iradescent glitter, neutral shimmer mica powder
my INSPIRATION: A drawing by local artist, Karen Margolis. It depicts a pattern which represents events in her life.
Step 1 Sponged on base of white. dusted with shimmery neutral mica powder.
Step 2 Painted Black Circles with pouncer, dotter, Qtips, #4 round brush
Step 3 Removed paint in Circle shapes to form 'holes' through to the skin with pouncer and qtips.
Step 4 Painted teal / dark metalic blue and metalic purple/pink dots in clusters with pouncer, qtip, #4 round. added glitter.
Step 5 painted a golden edge on each hole and a purple/black shadow inside each hole. added golden circles and dots.
Final:
This was fun! Can't wait for the next one. Good luck everybody.
