Re: Post Submissions Here!
Here we go... I'm getting the ball rolling. I need to say... painting on the neck/chest area on your self is a whole lot harder than painting on your own face, so be gracious... I didn't have as much brush control as I'd like
This is a design I do at Christmas on the forehead or neck. I've also done bracelets.
1. Tools: Medium & small mop, #4 round brush & a detail round brush
2. Paints: paradise white, paradise black, paradise lime green, paradise green, dfx red, dfx black, dfx white
Using a medium mop loaded with paradise white, space circles:
Using a small mop 1/2 loaded with lime green & green, put small circles between the medium circles(darker color on the bottom & lighter color on the top):
Using red paint on the candy pattern(you can stop at this step for a quick design):
Shade with washed out black paint or starblend black powder:
Low light with dfx black:
Highlight with dfx white:

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I almost posted the quick jewelry I did on the girl at one of the jams at golden corral on here just to get things going, but you beat me to it. lol.
Re: Post Submissions Here!
post your way of doing it. It's quicker than what I did & looks great!
I'm really not happy with mine... I had no control of the brush at that angle.

Psalm, I LOVE IT!! It's beautiful. The linework looks intentional and cozy to me. Thanks for the holiday necklace idea!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Here's my entry! All done with various sized round and script brushes.
I painted circles and filled them in with Snazaroo Teal. I lined them with Snazaroo Royal Blue, and smoothed the edges with my finger.
I outlined my gemstones with Kryolan Bronze.
Connected each gemstone with Kryolan Bronze.
Outlined inside gems with DFX Black.
Laid down shadows and outlining with watered down DFX black mixed with Snaz brown.
Highlighted gems and jewelry with DFX White. Also added a bit more black in the crevices.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Very nice work! I love my Kryolan Interferenze copper, but wasn't as WOW'd by some of the other shades. Maybe it's only the metallic shades that look this terrific? I used the copper on the leopard face that I use as my avatar.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Thanks guys! The Kryolan bronze is definitely the best. I've only tried that and silver Interferenze, and wasn't very happy with the silver. It was more like a clearish gray color with some silver glitter mixed in. Bronze is a must-have! I don't even remember where I bought it... have had it for several years. There are only certain things I use it for, since it tends to blend in with the skin.
