aah..thanks...Jody Rife wrote:Thank you everyone! When Jessie got those shoes, I just had to paint something. I wish Sketchers made them in an adult size.
Michelle, I feel that I was influenced by your style in this one. Your designs are always so interesting and when I looked at mine when it was finished ,your name popped in my head.
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Jody your jacket inspired painting was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. You did such a fabulous job and the colors are amazing! WOW

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Okay, I wanted to give it another try.
This time I wanted to use something that was more of a boys design.
I sorry I am unable to get photobucket to upload my slideshow, so I will again have to post many pics..
Tools used:
white fx, rainbow cake paradise, royal bule snazaroo, round brushes #2,#4, #8.
I began by outlining the design in white. Than filled the highlighted areas with yellow/orange. Than added red to the outer edges to fill and add depth. Than added blue colors to the body. Than outlined and added details with black.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
It's my first time entering any face painting contest and I'm pretty excited! I really like old vintage looking wall paper, so I used that as my inspiration. I used all Wolfe paints and Royal Majestic 1-4 rounds. Thanks for the great contest idea, might submit another entry later in the week.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I am sorry Spiderman and Cars designs, you won't be included in the judging because the contest is for a pattern. I hope you understand... Lovely designs though!!
Just to clarify everyone this is a competition in which we are painting something inspired by a pattern we saw.... Wallpaper, tissue box... etc... Just patterns
Hope there are no hard feelings.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Hi girls! This is the first competition on here that I've entered. I'm still learning so my design isn't nearly as intricate as some! I've gone for something that I could actually use at a party or fair.
My inspiration comes from my most favourite thing - my baby girl This is her favourite doll:
Materials used are:
- Wolfe black and white
- Tag pearl light blue and pink
- Montemarte red and pink
- Spouncer from cheapo shop
- Jasart 3/4 inch flat brush
- Jasart #4 round brush
The final design:
