I'll start you off with a quick one Razz I find I can't always fit all of the instructions on a slide show, so I'm going to just post all the pix.

What's Valentine's without pink and hearts?

Sponge on Kryolan Int Silber + Strauss Wine blended together on apples of cheeks. (Then I added some Snaz pink on top, which looked better in person, but still not all that different in the photo!)

Use a 1" flat and a red/pink/white split cake (mine is homemade; all Kryolan) and swoosh from forehead to under cheek. Brush paint on opposite eyelid.

Add red (Snaz) and white hearts, and white swirls/teardrops (all DFX) with a #2 round

Take a #0 round/liner brush, and accent with DFX essential purple. Starbursts with #0 and DFX white. #2 brush + DFX metallix red on lips. Ta-daa!

For this design, I was inspired by the beautiful bouquet of flowers on my dining room table.
Step 1. Apply modern magik shimmer powders in Rose, white, and brown with a smoothy blender to lids.
Step 2. With a 1" brush apply arty brush cake in rose.
Step 3. Paint hearts with arty brush cake. Paint flowers with Wolfe metallic rose, purple, yellow, black, white, brown, and green.
Step 3. Add details to flowers and hearts.
Step 4. Add curls, swirls, and tear drops in brown.
Step 5. Add white dots, highlights and shadows to entire design. Add metallic rose and white dots to lips. Top off with glitter.

This turned out waaay prettier in real life- the camera just couldn't pick up the glitter!

Step 1: Sponge Wolfe gold over mask area and powder over that with fairy dust powder.
Draw in very light white lines with size 0 brush and Wolfe white for lace mask.

Step 2: Draw in love birds and hearts with blue and pink and red, as well as swirls and curls with pink, gold, white and red, and outline the love birds and hearts in black.

Post Submissions Here! Lovebi11

Step 3: Add faint shadows of black for the lace in the mask. I also added a "perch" for the love birds to sit on by adding a white ribbon. Also added eyeliner to the eyes and orange for the kissing beaks of the love birds Smile

Step 4: I added pink glitter gel to each love knot in the lace of the mask, and lots of glitter all around- on the lips as well Smile

All colors are Wolfe. Start by sponging white and pink gradually from light to dark. Using a No. 3 round brush draw design in black. Using No. 3 round brush fill in hearts in red. Using dotter, add white dots sparingly. Add highlights to hearts.

All colors are Wolfe. Using No. 5 round brush paint purple flowers and a white lily in the shape of a heart. Paint on light green for the leaves. Using a No. 3 round, paint on the yellow spadix(pollen thingy) of the lily, as well as the yellow center of the flowers. Using No. 3 round, add pink highlights to the purple flowers. Using No. 3 round, mix brown and white to produce a tan color. Paint highlights on lily with the tan color. Using a No. 3 flat brush paint the jagged edges of the leaves. Using a No. 0 liner brush, outline design. Using a No. 3 round brush, add white highlights to flowers.

REVISION to the RULES:

This isn't really a rule, but I was thinking of including the winner and maybe a runner up or two in the newsletter for Feb. I already have some nice designs from Vi for Valentines, but thought it would be nice for the winner to get published as well. If you win and don't want this, just let me know.

This is something I think I would like to start doing from now on with the winner's approval of course.

The Shepherdess and the Chimneysweep. Is this story known outside Denmark?
