Great doggies. I'm hoping to submit one(I'm looking for a moment to paint), but I don't know if I'm brave enough to attept my dog... a pug.
Re: Post Submissions Here!
OK, my dog face looks more like a zombie, but my dog is a pug, so what's the difference? I thank my daughter for allowing me to do this

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I'm doing our little yorkie I'm afraid my daughter's forhead isn't large enough to do his ears the right way! LOL
Step 1: Snaz Ocre Yellow base sponged on
Step 2: Draw outline of ears, bow, nose, eyes and tongue with DFX Brown using #4 round brush
Step 3: Color in tongue with Snaz Bright Red and DFX Pink, color nose with Wolfe black, color in eyes with Paradise Metallic bronze and DFX Metallic Black, color in bow with DFX Metallic Blue, put hairs in with Snaz Ocre Yellow, Paradise Metallic Bronze, DFX Metallic White, DFX Metallic Black. I used a #0 and #1 brush for the hairs and a #4 for the rest.
Step 4: Finalize with Wolfe Black by going over eyes, muzzle, tongue, bow, etc.

That is sooooooo cool!! Nice job Everyone!
I was going to do a boston terrier but I see someone already beat me to it, lol. I have two bostons myself, they are such great dogs.
Hmmmmmm, what to do now?

wow that yorkie was fantastic, new i was totally blown out of the comp the moment i entered. but it was fun doing it hoping some1 will go a husky!!!! (hint hint).
Re: Post Submissions Here!
LOVE the beagle! I have one myself and I couldn't ask for a better dog! unfortuneately I don't have a dog design that could compete with those already submitted, so I'll just have to sit back and watch on this one!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Here is my try... this is my first attempt and I've discovered that it's pretty hard to paint yourself... I'm in awe of what everyone has created!!! My husband said this looked creepy.. but that is not what I was going for... but it is creepy and it looks sloppy
I used all snaz-- (pallette)Snaz Blue, White, Black, Orange, Yellow, 3 sponges, 1/4", #5round, round sponge/spouncer (for yellow)
First, I outlined the dog, then sponged the orange, then the white, then the blue, then i outlined and made the outlines fuzzy with black, then highlighted a little with some white, then created the yellow rounds for eyes, added black center and let dry.
I was inspired by "Blue Dog Art"...

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I think the eys make it creepy...otherwise you did good! it is hard to make something on your own face though...I know!
Re: Post Submissions Here!
LOL! I was thinking... it reminds me of that blue dog painting & then I saw your inspiration! You all are doing great!
Re: Post Submissions Here!
This is my attempt at a West Highland Terrier. My grandma used to have two of them. I was doing this late at night, so I didn't have any reference material. Hope I got it basically right. I think it kind of looks like a cross between a cat and a dog!
Materials used:
Snazaroo white
DFX white, #4 round
Paradise gray, #4 round
Paradise black, 2/0 round
Snaz sparkle orange, #4 rd.
Silly Farm's pink glitter dust
