Wait...I just noticed in Shannon's photo above that she used the rounded side of her sponge. I use the flat side. Am I doing it wrong or do people use both.

Jessica, on the bottom right hand corner of shannons entry, she explains how to load the sponge two different way. Its pretty interesting. I have to try it to see the different effects.

You showed me how I dont noticed certain things either. I was hurting my eyesite trying to read all the tiny lettering and then you point out the obvious link.

Nice! I love this challenge. The rainbow and split cakes create some of my favorite designs.

I saw shannon's awesome thing here and tried the round side of the sponge at my last gig. I feel like I need to play with it a bit more at home to get the hang of it but for now, I'm really used to using the flat side... I can't wait to enter this challenge. I need to borrow my friend's child so I can take the step by step photos. lol

and omg-- love that tiger. I have that cake and a gig tomorrow.... or well in like 10 hours and I'm going to try that if I have any boys...

gee, it's weird how I'm not so great at boys faces / never have any to do.

If I did my gallery right you can see a fairy design I did ages ago with a Silly farm dayglo cake. It was one that Wyndy saw and we became Facebook friends
