I really love the snake!

LoneWolf, I love you. I have been trying to come up with some great Harry Potter designs because all of the kids I know love them, and then I was browsing on here, clicked on the challenge, and there were those awesome designs. They are great. Thank you so much for posting them!

On the subject of Harry Potter...Anyone got any photos of 'voldermort' or rather the 'not to be named' guy from Harry Potter? I was thinking of painting the back of my husband's bald head with that for Halloween...he's a teacher LOL

Yeah, Ray didn't want me to paint the front of his face because the fish swallowing his head I painted on him last year freaked out the kids a bit and was a bit distracting.

Just a bit distracting? lol

Thanks! My mom figured it out when they were still blobs of colour - she's my gage on whether or not anything I do is distinguishable!

Man, these things turn out so big! Haha. I had to flip a couple of images after I realised I'd painted the "1" backwards. C'est la vie.

Sorry the pictures are so big. I'm still new at uploading pic's and have to figure out how to make them smaller.

First I used a few sponges that I cut from a car wash sponge to paint and blend a sunset on my son's face using snazaroo sky blue, snazaroo bright yellow, paradise yellow, paradise orange, and paradise light blue.


Next, I used a #3 round brush and painted on the silhouette of a skateboarding ramp in paradise black.


Using a #1 round brush and paradise black, I sketched on a skateboarder doing a trick.


Using the #1 round and paradise black, I filled in the skateboarder.


I decided the painting would look better and more complete if I finished the ramp, so I used the #3 round and paradise black to finish painting the other side of the ramp. Here's the finished picture.

Can I just say........ That Snake is SICKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!! love love love it. Ahem Lone?? might I borrow that?...lololol The wolf is still my favorite...but this is coming in a pretty close 2nd.

Lone, I get sooooo many compliments on the wolf design...so thank you again for that.

My husband really is into trains – we owned a train store for 15 years – thus, he is my model.
The engine and caboose are on either side of the mouth. I always tell the boys to open their mouth because the rest of the train is riding on their teeth!

in white, paint a cross on the forehead, and design on the cheeks




you then want to fill in a mask shape in red, leaving the eyes blank (almost a spiderman eye shape). After that, outline the white areas and mask shape in black


There you go, Rey Mysterio mask. You can ask the kids for their fave coloursm as Rey has a multitude of different masks, but from what my son tells me, this is the best!

Think I missed the deadline, but hey- ho... I know a lot of boys are obsessed with wrestling, so I thought I'd show you a really easy and quick one.

Oh bugger, I've just spent ages designing my own haunted halloween face to enter in for this challenge. And I've just relised I've missed the dead line.

Missed another deadline
My mom moved into an assisted living facility this month & my life is a little crazy. I only have time to paint at gigs till things settle.
I'm so in love w/ all the creativity here!!!
