My 2nd attempt!! Way better I think!!!
Someting evil, green with lots of glitter!

Mission: My Odd Request is a Scary Fish, I have to tell you this one was really thinking outside of the box for me. First time doing a fish and did it without my eye glasses. Quite the challenge for me.

Tools: Sponge, Smoothie Blender, #0,#3,#6 and #8 Round Brush.

Paint: Wolfe Royal Blue, Red, Orange, FAB Alice Blue and TAG black and white.

Step 1:
With the Alice Blue painted using the #8 Round Brush for the fish body and with black did the interior of the mouth.


Step 2:
Fixed the mouth and painted the scary teeth with white. Painted a white circle for the eyeball, then on top and bottom, envelop with red the eye ball and with orange outline some lid for the eye and all using the #3 round Brush.


Step 3:
Added with the Smoothie Blender the lines on the body and tales. with Blue Royal and the fins on top and bottom. With my Sponge I blended all the Royal Blue lines to give it a 3D look. Outilned with the Royal Blue the fish lip.

Final Step:
Added all the outlines with the #0 Round Brush using Black.

Love the second green glittery evil face!! I'm thinking of doing a second design too! So many ideas now!! I LOVE the eye on that fish X-Facion pretty cool touch!!

Using the nostrils as fish eyes is so clever!

1 sponge regular light green for grass, sparkle white and pearl blue for the sky
2 With brown Draw a three, a wheelbarrow, a cat (royal brush 3 & 12)
3 flowers and apples using filbert 4 double loaded with red and orange (pansy)
4 highligth with black and white (using a 5/0 royal brush), oh I forgot the hat !!!

Ok here it goes. I'm a first timer. I loved this odd request idea and couldn't pass it up. Suzy's odd request was fun because it was something I never painted before but really want to get good at...Monsters! She asked for a "Green Grape Monster" so here it is lol I can stop giggling I get so nervous posting here. ok here it is...

Majestic #4 round, American Painter #2 round, Lucky Art Angle #4, sponge
Paint: Wolfe Black & white, FAB Purple, Wolfe green and another green I gutted out of a rainbow cake not sure of the name.


outlined the mouth part and then added green base


then added darkness around the eyes & some angry wrinkles. geez i was able to follow my own wrinkles for this


add some green grapes and outline then higlights

Enjoyed the odd request challenge. You are all awesome. I'm new to face painting. Doing my first PPF at a juried art festival on Saturday. Really nervous but have received a lot of great ideas and inspiration from all of you. Thanks

Ok, so here's my second entry of the same request. :-) "Quill and some ink"

Split cake of Snaz yellow and orange, DFX Metallic Pink and Light Blue
DFX Black and White
1" flat brush
Round no. 2 brush
Round no. 4 brush
Sponge

Step 1 - Paint feather on eye using a 1" flat brsuh with split cake
Step 2 - Sponge other eye split cake
Step 3 - Ouline feather using round no. 2 with DFX Black
Step 4 - Paint "ink" using round no. 4 with DFX Black and use splatter technique
Step 5 - Paint "ink" using round no. 4 with DFX black and use splatter technique on other side.
Step 6 - Ouline eyes with DFX Black, and paint quill point, highlight, and splatter using round no. 4 with DFX White
Step 7 - Sponge lips with split cake and outline using round no. 2 with DFX Black
