I've created a tutorial for a different type of one-stroke rose. You can see in the picture at the front of the video that I literally made about 500 roses trying to get the right combo. It's a combination of tole painting and one-stroke and I liked the result. I'm hoping that it's easier to make than traditional one stroke and it's small enough to use even on little ones and still get that one-stroke look. (It's also good if you have a candy cane cake you've got left over from the holidays.)

I know!!! I think we're filming one on Wednesday.

She's such a doll. It's her 18th birthday coming up and we call her birthdays Emma-palooza because she always plans about 3 days worth of stuff to do. So far we're going to lunch up in Park City during the Sundance film festival where my son works (Zoom). I think she wants to go celebrity hunting. Now she's planned a boy-girl dance party at my house??? Shocked

We'll see what else she comes up with! Smile

Great video and you were so cheerful. I worked all day trying to do a vid. My editing skills are a joke. I am determined to figure this out,though,LOL

It's a lot harder for me than I thought it would be to talk and paint at the same time, sometimes I don't hear it until I'm editing. I should probably do like bad commercials and dub over it....maybe with an English accent.

I tried making a video with my camera but when I uploaded it to my files it didn't show up. I requested help from one of my students and she brought her friend's camera to the Jam and Scott uploaded it to youtube when she got home.

I was showing Desiree how to create rainbow & split cakes at my Jam Sunday but it was hard with so many distractions & using the camera while I am demoing the splits. It would be so much easier if someone else worked the camera as Desiree did near the end.

Will demo a Firebird at Monday nights Woodbridge, Va Jam and continue with part two on the rainbow cakes, hoping someone will help with the camera. I so wish I knew how to upload it to files. Any advice would be most appreciated - I have a small 4 year old panasonic digital camera.

I want to do my avatar or the one on my page profile pic but I don't think I can do it in 9 minutes. Does anyone know how Clayton from Marvelous mask makes his go fast? Thanks Martha!

You should be able to increase the frame rate of the clip. Normally it's 25 or 30 per second but you can increase that to 60 to double speed. In Premiere you do it by right clicking on the segment.

It looks like it's even easier in Windows Movie Maker...here's a little tutorial.
