Okay, so here is my submission. I have to figure out how to make the video work for the SBS but I have a couple of pix for now and I'll post the vid later. Designing while filming is a challenge. I hope I have time to do another the old fashioned way but I wanted to earn the shipping discount.
This was inspired by the big Chinese parade dragons.

I used all DFX ,#2,#4,and #9 round, and #12 flat brushes ( I might have to try this one more time on myself this head is a little too smooth)

Ok.. here goes. I couldn't do my first idea cause my son got sick so had to cancel going to draw on my sister in law and stay home - so I did this last night in between going in to comfort him when he was coughing.. I think it is my first real face art so I'm pretty excited.... I did a course with Becstar Anthony last week and it's definitely inspired me!

So I used:
2xNo2 round brushes
1xliner brush
1x3/4"flat brush
3xsponges
1x sister-in-laws xmas bow (for scales)
TAG black, gold and pearl green and TAG one stroke flame
SNAZ sparkle purple, sparkle green, mettalic black
TAG emerald green glitter
Cosmic glitter holographic gold, and purple

1.outline shape in black
2. sponge on gold
3. sponge on both greens and blend
4. Add scales with stencil
5.Add purple
6.sponge on blacks and blend
7. outline black and add black details
8. Add gold details
9. Add pearl green highlights
10.Add green and purple glitter
11.Add one stroke flames and highlight with gold glitter

Im new to the forum and all I can say is AMAZING! It will be awhile before I have the nerve to post anything...lol NO way I come close to being as talanted as you all. Everyone of them is perfect!!!

OK so here is mine, it's my first dragon and third butterfly type thing so it is kinda sucky.. (I am SUPER new after all, just started six days ago)

I used sponge that came in the little snaz kit (cut up)
two brushes (shown in the vid) Im not sure the size
and the little snaz kit (black,white,blue,green,pink,and yellow)
