Super stuff! I especially want to try out that bumblebee and ladybug if you all don't mind I borrow? I did a scary eyeball Sunday (inspired by another thread here where the 6 year old birthday girl requested it and it became the hit of the party) and tried a pearl inspired by the jewelry. Didn't post - the eyeball came out great but that 3D jewelry with the shading is going to need lots of continued study and practice. Another application seemed planets for a space theme....

I think what I like is it seems a great way to do cheek art both more quickly and to a greater effect - that was worrying me as I'm not so great at line art and I know I need to be able to do it!

I had a problem too with runs when I pressed rather than kind of twisted slightly. I do LOVE how they hold they paint.

Oh I bet - that dripping eyeball is positively gruesome. My BF would love it. I have promised my next face on him will be Jigsaw. Who needs a 13 year old when you have a man around? LOL.

That snowman is so cute poizonedpeach. You really captured a lot of texture on the hat - and the face is just perfect. It could be on a Christmas card!

I look forward to your challenge synni - I looked at your gallery and I can't imagine you not doing well. You may only do it part-time but you have some nice faces posted! I especially liked the Nightmare Before Christmas back you did.

agree with Pixie, Synni don't sell yourself short you are a great artist! Thanks you guys for the compliments! I can't remember for sure but I think I got the idea for the snowman from clash as well?? Embarassed Anyway, I think the pouncer sponges are great for any type of monster face, here are some more I did :

Pouncer Inspired - Page 2 Lizz_p19Pouncer Inspired - Page 2 Lizz_p20Pouncer Inspired - Page 2 Lizz_p21Pouncer Inspired - Page 2 Lizz_p22
I did a lot of white and black detail lines on top of the blue face so you can't really see the dotter effect as well, but that's how it was started!
