Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ok here we go again. This time I revamped a design I typically would do across the forehead into a butterfly design for the contest.
This is my haunted houselfly.
Colors used homemade split cake of (met blue silver and white), black, white, yellow with mehron gold powder mixed in and mehron silver
Tools used sponge #5 and #6 rounds
Sponge on split cake randomly but in general shape of butterfly. Dust on mehron silver where the clouds would be
2. Add moon,tree trunk, branches, and teardrops in wing shape
3.Add bat and teardrops to otherside
4. Add house pathway and tombstones
5. Add white highlights
Final look

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ok so i did this on a whim at a jam, though i should have put more thought into it and taken more pics (i lost the final one, but what i have will have to do, lol)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BUTTERKIN~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Items Used:
DFX Light & dark Yellow and Neon orange (pumpkin) AND light & Dark Green (leaves)
Wolfe black
Half a sponge
small flat brush
round (3?) brush
Steps:
1) With the curved side of my sponge I loaded all 3 pumpkin colors Neon (edge), dk yellow, lighter yellow (middle) and sponged in the pumpkin in a butterfly shape.
2) With my round brush loaded in black, I made the eyes, nose, and mouth of my butterkin and outlined her
3) with my small flat brush, pick up the light and dk grean to make the stump and the curls
4) well i may have to do this on my self, but what I did was with round brush loaded in brown, out line the stump and make the vertical pumpkin lines.
5) round brush loaded with white, make a few highlights...
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Sorry, but the slide show thing is working for me right now so you just get thumbnails. You guys always talk about being able to re-size your photos so they don't show up huge, but I don't know how to do that so I apologize in advance for the monster photo.
Outline the design in Wolfe white
Fill in the hat with Paradise beach berry, the face with Snazaroo "flesh color/" and the beard with Wolfe white.
Create the details and outlines with Wolfe white and black.
Using the same materials, add the finishing details to your liking. Candy cane, snow, lips, star bursts...
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Thanks, you too! You totally just posted what I was going to do next. I was going to do it a bit differently though, so if you don't mind, I still might do it if I get a chance.
