Here is an idea for an eye design. I'm not sure I've figured out how to get the photos to work. (all paints used were snazaroo except dark brown and orange which were paradise)
I sponged on a light beige where the hand would go and some various colours for background. I outlined a hand following the contours of the face and using the eyebrow for the line between hand and fingers. I added a little highlighting to the palm. I intensified the background with yellow, orandge, sparkle pink and purple. I then created a mendhi design with the brown.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
1. Add Paradise Neon Purple as base color using a sponge
2. Add Diamond Fx Metallic Purple for flowers using your favorite brush
3. Add Paradise Sky Blue on inside of flowers again using your favorite brush
4. Add Diamond FX Black to flowers for swirls using a liner brush
5. Add Diamond FX White for accents using a liner brush

Re: Post Submissions Here!
it kind of looks like you have the wrong link picked to start with as me clicking on it is just sending me to a page that says I am not authorized to edit that slide show, but...
On your slide show page there should be 2 links you can copy, copy the one beside embedded, its a whole stream of text starting with
embed src="http:
and ending with
Create Your Own
but make sure there is a < in the beginning and > at the end (can't post the code to show you the code with them in or it just shows the image/ slideshow)
hope that make enough sense to help.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I wanted to make another submission that is more suitable for fast face painting then the other one. I had to make it three times before I had it right because I kept making it too much work. But here is it, the fast version:
1. Paradise dark pink applied with a big sized brush instead of with a sponge, but a sponge would do also.
2. DFX white with a Royal Majestic round brush size 6, lines around the pink and two teardrops, one from the corner of the eye and one coming from the eyelid
3. Lots of DFX white teardrops in whatever direction you like. Some here are teardrops attached to each other, which is something I use a lot
4. Adding some detail with DFX light pink, little teardrops in the big teardrops, also with the Royal Majestic round brush size 6. It could be finished here if there is not much time.
5. Small black little teardrops in the light pink teardrops (which are inside the white teardrops) with a Royal Majestic round brush size 2 and DFX black. Also some shade like lines around the design to let it stand out a bit more.
Thats about it.
So its Paradize dark pink, DFX white and black.
+ Royal majestic wash brush (big one), a Royal majestic round 6 + 2
Here is the end result:
Edit:
I just added some gold to it, which makes it like this:
I`m not sure what I like best though, with or without.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
1. Use Paradise Sky blue as base color with a sponge. Then add Wolfe Light Blue to blend.
2. With a liner brush add Diamond FX Black for swirls.
3. Using a small brush add Diamond Fx White for stars and swirls and small dots.
4. I mixed Kryolan neon blue and Wolfe Light blue together and added it to the stars and tear drops.
5. Outline stars and tear drops with Diamond FX Black. You don't have to outline the stars completely.
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Okay, here's a try. I just made the black and white splitcake, and had to try it out. This is the first time trying to really paint myself, and I must say that I have even more respect for the ones painting themselves now!!! I found it quite difficult

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ok, so obviously this is verrrryyyyy simple and I just did it on a whim on Sunday (the request was "anything with an animal print that looks cute"). So Step 1) I used the curved side of 1/2 a sponge and applied Wolfe white from the mid section of her nose up at a 45ish degree angle towards her forehead and all along her eyelid. Step 2) Use Wolfe Black to squiggle lines "a la tiger" up and down at an angle usine a small round brush (#4?) to look like a zebra or tiger. Step 3) Use same black to outline her eye for an eyeliner. Step 4) GLITTER!!!! Ok, so I will try to find a victimmahem model to redo this design with a step by step...maybe my boyfriend will let me? lol hahahahaha
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ooh love that one, BlueAngL83!
I need some clarification on this contest because alot of these designs are really half-face and not one eye designs....

Re: Post Submissions Here!
I know mine take up alot of the face, but I thought she said a design of our choosing. With that said if I have missed the mark on the criteria for this challenge I wll gladly remove my entries.
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Oh, I thought in a simulair way as ChangingFaceDesigns. But I could also remove the pink one if its too big.
Or make a smaller version of it.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
No, I was just wanting to know for sure before I did my design...yours are fantastic!
Re: Post Submissions Here!
I didn't know what I was doing, even as I was loading my brush...haha.
Product:
homemade true rainbow cake (made with Kryolan)
DFX white
Equipment:
3/4" flat brush
#6 round
Load the rainbow cake with your flat brush, and swoop it over your eyelid, and curl up.
Add your white swirls and teardrops
Fill in with dots and stars (don't forget the glitter like I did!), et voila!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Okay, had to try again. But I still find it hard to paint on myself! Does it just take practice?
I hope that it is okay to do the step by steps like I do. I can't figure out to do the slideshows, this is easier for me...
