eviedejesus,

I really like the information on your board explaining wait time, design, hair pulled back, leaving kids unattended.

Thanks - it’s actually a banner I got from Vistaprint, I just velcro’d it to the front of the table. Now I don’t bother with a tablecloth.

Festival Setups! - Page 6 4th_ju10

10ft tall pro tent with 15ft flags, all custom designed by yours truly.

Setup cost is around $5,000

I have seen too many ez-ups disintegrate to trust my business to anything but the best.

This picture was taken at the beach, where a thunderstorm hit this 4th of july and most vendors packed up and left or were literally blown away.

One of our laminated signs got ripped because we neglected to reinforce the holes at each corner.

I am a distributor for the tent company, I do the graphics work and I have package deals available starting at $2500

Festival Setups! - Page 6 Img_7211

This is an annual event rt after the 4th of July. Shortly after this pic was taken, we put the sides up, due to a sudden rain shower, then down again for the breeze. Two of us were painting, one on each side of the table. All my pics are laminated to protect against rain. They're attached to foam core boards using tacky craft clay so I can change them easily. I'm sponsored (paid) by one of the local businesses but they allow my "Tacky Tip Jar", as my husband calls it. Boy, does that thing make a difference!

This was my 1st large event after my open heart surgery for St Paddy's Day. My family & friends set me up & took it all down. We had just moved & no one could find my sign for the top of the tent. We had to set up Friday & leave everything  but my paints each night till it was over Sunday night. I bought the lights @ Home Depot after hearing about them here on the FPF. 5 lights, 10 feet apart, with vinyl baskets around each light. We put one in each corner & one in the center. It worked great! The table on the right had glitter tattoos (my niece) & the one on the left was for the two of us face painting, one on each side.
FYI: I lay out my tattoos on  a black background & photograph them, then print them on 8.5 x 11 paper. I number each tattoo & laminate the paper. Using a small rectangular plastic rubbermaid container, I create a numbered file system for all my glitter tattoos. You can't see, but the 2 pages of sample tattoos are laying down on the table.
This was the 1st night. The next day, I changed the pics so all the Irish ones were on my A-Frame & sales increased. You also can't see the prices on the board. Bottom row (full faces) on boys & girls boards were $10. Everything else was $6. Note the dolly (Costco) at back of tent. Usually returned to car but left that day. It's a Godsend for me!!!
