Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
My explanation as to why she is saying I use craft glitter...
um she posted this same post and rant on at least 5 different message boards, posts and went insane BEFORE asking me absolutely anything. The video in question (that she was talking about) was made 2 years ago... Someone on the FPF was asking me a question on how to do something with a glitter tattoo. I had JUST started doing glitter tattoos and with the expense of all of the stencils and the glitter I was trying not to waste. I did the video FOR THIS ONE PERSON explaining how to do something (I can't even remember what that thing was) During the video I used my martha stewart very fine glitter on MYSELF since I didn't want to waste my other stuff in a small little tutorial helping out a friend. I do not use that glitter on kids OR ANYONE... I certainly don't use it in the glitter gel. This is completely ridiculous... I have shown my receipts and explained myself.

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
I really wish we couldn't be pulled apart by stuff like this. We, as body artists, are a small and talented community and we could do well to rise above things like these. I commented in the FaceBook community about how it was a little unprofessional to block her from asking questions. Whatever your past issues with her, they should be ignored as she is a potential customer. Had I wanted an answer, I wouldn't want to be ignored because the seller did not like me. However, I completely understand the feelings of distrust after the past actions, but we need to put these things aside if we are to ever grow as a community. I love the new glitters you've come out with, and I love this community and everyone in it.
My biggest competition has years of skill and experience on me, and has a dedicated staff to getting gigs: And I love her to pieces (KaraMundy, You my boo <3 ) because she inspires me, makes me want to do better, and she's a pretty bad a** chick! So c'mon ladies! Let's get our good feelings on!

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
She was asking to be rude as we had had issues in the past. She is not a customer byu any means and would have never bought them she even stated herself and by her MANY posts that she was trying to dig up dirt on what kind of stuff I use... She has a store of which she sells things, not a customer... Competition being nosy and since she had started problems in the past, I just thought it best to block it before it got worse as it had in the past. AS it is did afterwards... As usual.

Slightly OT but what size tip is on the bottle? Can the tip be exchanged with a different size?
Also, do neon glitters glow in blacklight?
I am not sure what size tip.. There is a pre made hole which works perfectly... It isn't like the metal tips..
Yes the neon ones will glow in the dark !!!!!
AWESOME!!

Nope that was me (ridiculously) demonstrating that with other glitter gels you need a needle to unclog them. Mine don't get clogged... I have had some laying around for 4 months and they worked as if I just set them down. I really love them

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
Seriously, I don't understand why people can have the audacity to do something like that!
As soon as I can afford to, I'll be buying some of the glitter gels... They look amazing and I know you wouldn't use craft glitter in it!

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
I am sorry this has upset you and although I have not seent he posts, I wouldn't have belived it anyway.
It displays a clear lack of integerity and ethics on her part. Which are kind of things you want in a vendor of buying online.
I won't be buying from a person who has made unfounded and now even proved false accusations.
what grounds did she even have to make such a claim? mabye it is what she plans to do given her highly unprofessional, slanderous and unethical attack, I wouldn't put it past someone who has demonstrated these traits so openly.
don't loose sleep over this, she won't win, you have the market here on the forum and the support of this community, no matter what she says.

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
*big hugs* I'm so sorry you are going thru this! At least you have the forum to bring it to our attention
When I had an online biz a customer took one of my products and made a PDF pattern off of it. I was so hurt and shocked. I did talk to my lawyer, but I felt like it wasn't worth all the drama. I later decided to walk away and retire my biz. It just wasn't worth the headache.

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
Suzy, I agree with Sue who said "you have the market here on the forum and the support of this community, no matter what she says". My thought on this is ...not only do you have our support, but, you have our friends support who are not members of this forum.
It wasn't long after I joined here that I realized there are many professionals on this forum, and who show such kindness and compassion for each other..always willing to help those of us who are struggling to become like all of you here. I'm thankful for the care and support that everyone shares. To me, this is what a professional should be like...in any business.
Have you ever heard the old saying....misery loves company? You are too professional to give her the time of day (except block her from your site). She needs to grow up! It's true what others here are saying...ignore her and don't give her the chance to stab you again. I think it will hurt her more if you ignore her because what she wants is a reaction from you. You're the better person...we all know that. If you want to react...just get your practice head out and paint her face!

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
I saw the Post when it first appeared on FB and tried to tell her she elwas wrong and to remove the post but her balmy army went on the defensive and I bailed out. Seriously disgusting behavior. Suzy I really feel for you going through this. I know they have deleted everything now which is exactly what they should do when untruths are published about someone or their business. She must see you as some sort of threat to her and her business or else why would she care what you do?
I will be ordering from you to as every other liquid glitter gel has sucked so far, this is just what I needed. Thankyou for all your hard work. Xxx

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
With a name that ends in "Sparkles" how can you lose?
Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
I think it's sad that she has nothing better to do than slam you. You have proven to be an awesome person who shares her joy of art. Karma will come back and bite her in the mean >>um tushie. But hey now I know about your glitter gel so technically she is handing you business instead of destroying your reputation.it all comes back around. keep your Head up because you are amazing.

Don't let it bother you this much. You know and we know she is wrong & you are right.
Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
Suzy, I will be buying your gel the next time I need any. The colors are so pretty and I, for one, trust your integrity. Don't let them get you down to their level - you are better than that for sure!

Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
You ladies are so kind... It was just a big huge kick in the gut to my happiness and it was really hard to take. My life hasn't been really happy lately and I had a lot of fun making that little youtube video and was really in good spirits about the gel. Metina was so excited for me for my first order... Not to mention the money and time I have invested... To just have one crazy person fall off the deep end and try to ruin everything in one swoop by slamming me in multiple threads about something that wasn't even CLOSE to true really broke my freakin heart... And the drone soldiers commenting after that... "OMG really, she does that" I swear, some people... Yeah I know... Karma... But it just really took the one thing that I had happiness over lately and really squashed it... I won't go into all of the sad details and I am sorry for once again talking about it... but the fact that you guys support me and that you would never believe that about me feels good.
Love u guys...

Got that right. Never doubt that we never doubted you. You earned that.
And so did Metina.
No one here would even consider the possibility that she would carry something in her shop that didn't meet the safety standards we all uphold.
Now go take another look at all the pretty sparkly colours. That always makes me happy.

Got some important things I need to buy but moneys tight right now. Other wise I would be all into more pretty colors of glitter gel. Suzy the haters are just think by bringing you down they will be liked more. The world doesn't work that way thank goodness you reap what you sew. Don't sweat the haters because eventually they will get what they deserve.
Re: Please everyone read (regarding the glitter gel drama)
I just caught up on this thread and I'd like to say that this whole situation may have given you a bit of bad PR, but hopefully a ton of customers! I'm buying some asap. I love this forum and will continue to support it and its members. <3
