Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
This is our Cosy Little Corner down the hall from the Pros where we just post anything we've been working on that we want to share.
Everyone has varying skills, so please don't be shy to post....even if you see someone's painting that look waaaaay too amazing.
It just takes PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. You can even see that if you look at some of the pros and what they posted when they first started in the forum.
HAPPY PAINTING, everyone!

Ooooh, I'm first! This is my thread now :p
He's my little brother. He's almost as enthusiastic about me facepainting as I am! He turns 13 this month and asked me to do some gorefest for him and two friends :p
I love how the painting combined with his hoodie completely warps his face :p

Great designs Sneezle that's one beautiful butterfly and I love your flowers! You're lucky to have someone to practice on!
Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
Sneezle, those are all so nice. Love those dots around the butterfly, so perfect. Your daughter is so cute with the clown face. I love the gecko with stencil and that fish is just perfect too!

Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
Thanks everybody for all the nice words. I have to say that I just love those one stroke roses (now that I can do that a bit better) I just bought the paradise prisma "fleur" those colors make such beautiful roses. It's my first paradise face paint and I like it, the paint is very colorful but doesnt stain that much and I love the smell!! It smells much better than other paint!!
O this sounds so wierd... Hi my name is Carmen and i'm such an pain-to-holic!

Wow Sneezle, those are all so pretty. I just love your seashorse!
Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
Thanks. I also use the Prisma fleur, love it. I would really like to buy more of the prisma splitcakes, te colours are so bright and lovely. But they are really expensive. The yellow & pink roses are made with my new splitcake roses, love the colours. Your roses are stunning!!!

Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
You're right Sneezle, I also would love some more paradise paint, but they are very expensive. I am thinking about buying the "wild orchid". I hear so much about that color so that would be the first one I would buy. But i'm gonna wait. I just spend alot on some beautiful mama clown glitter and glittertattoo glitter.
Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
Thanks everyone! He was even scarier in real life, lol.
Sweet Illusions, looooove those roses! Are you happy with the Prisma cakes? I'm considering buying one when my teeny rose cake is empty...
Sneezie, I those hearts! I'm such a girl, LOL

Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
Great job everyone! I worked a kid's expo with an awesome painter Valery and my daughter only took a few pics. This one was a very popular design that I was asked to paint off her banner. I had my own designs but, you know kids! These girls were all together and HAD to have the same design... all the boys had either skulls, spidey man or ninja turtles. The girls were this pretty mask, hello kitty and butterflies all night! I literally could have brought 3 designs for boys and 3 for girls.
Re: Show and Tell #3 March - May 2013
(I started my comments below and left to eat dinner...came back and a bunch more are posted...so my comments here lag behind, and don't cover all the great work I'm seeing in this thread)
Some great work there, Sneezle! Beautiful flowers, despite what you seem to think I especially like the 2nd one (at the top of page 2) What kind of brush did you use and how did you make the center of the flower look 3D-ish? Liquid bling?
Carmen, you are in good company with the rest of us paint-aholics!
