SHOW and TELL #7 January - March 2014
This is our Cozy Little Corner down the hall from the Pros ;)where we just post anything we've been working on that we want to share.
Everyone has varying skills, so please don't be shy to post....even if you see someone's painting that look waaaaay too amazing.
It just takes PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. You can even see that if you look at some of the pros and what they posted when they first started in the forum.
HAPPY PAINTING, everyone! (to quote Lisa the Fesspenter )
There are also older threads: Show and Tell #1,2,3, and then by months...if you want a little giggle (and to build confidence that we all start somewhere) you can look at them (just put Show and Tell in the search box, or go to google and type in "face paint forum Show and Tell.")
In fact, since you are probably new to the forum if you are looking at this, doing a search in google "face paint forum" + the subject you are looking for is a much more comprehensive search.
Just so you know....These usually run about 20 pages long...just so we don't add 10,000,000 threads all over.

This is my first post on show and tell I think...My grandson wanted a blue spidey guy so I used blue starblends and did his hands with wolfe red and black..he loved it.

Love those butterflies!
Here's some of mine. I keep practicing to get good enough to go pro! Still pretty slow. Did all the nieces and nephews at the new years party and even the teenagers were impressed. Oh, and my kiddos loved their mini face paint kits for Christmas. They were thrilled.
Girly asked for a dragon over her eye to watch Hobbit at the theater
Wanted "A valentines Fairy"
Furby face

Hi Marielle! Thank you and soooo nice to see you here!
Velux, your grandson is adorable! and what a great spidey guy. Nice to see a blue starblends spidey too.
Katurah, love, love love the butterflies!!! You are awesome. Glad to see you painting!
Maggie, PLEASE JOIN US! You do such Beautiful work!!
PattyO, you are coming along so nicely! What a great gift for your kids (I saw it one day when I popped in for a minute, but did not have time to comment then, sorry) and nice to include the split for them too! Especially like your leopard, and I'm sure your daughter?/niece? had loads of fun wearing that dragon eye to the movie!
Hope, I can get back in again soon. Love seeing everyone's work even when I haven't had time myself to paint. Seeing your work gives me hope/inspiration that sometime I can pick it up again.
I sure have the KIT of MASSIVE proportions to do it!

Re: SHOW and TELL #7 January - March 2014
Facepainting afternoon with the kids....
I tried to make the "New Dragon Vid- boy design" from fairyfox (Laura Pennock). Had a little problem with his wing, i just couldn't see it. So it has no wing...
My daughter wanted to be a prinsess and it was oke if i made it a owl prinses. Thanks Katurah for your inspiration!!!
Side view...
And my son is a little angry dino. He was a bit wobbly so my linework isn't really great but he liked it very much......

Andrea, love the stroke, beautiful colors and use of dots and tear drops.
Marielle, first of all, I love your name
Great job on those designs, the dragon on the eye is awesome, I need to paint that one sometime and the owl is adorable, is that red? Looks so pretty.

The little Spider-Man guy is adorable! Great idea about the webs on the hands.
Kathura, beautiful butterfly!
And I love the little ballerina fairy.
Sorry I'm missing some of the names but I have a really bad memory so is hard to go from page to page while you are writing a post lol
Here are a few of mine from last week, too bad I don't have any willing volunteers so I have to paint myself. Thanks for looking
