Re: Post Submissions Here!
Ok here is my little try! I gotta start somewhere, so here is my dolphin when someone asks for one. I used SNAZAROO metallic blue, white, black and a tiny outlining brush with a #4 filbert. this is a pretty fast design to. I have seen much better designs on here by far, but Im still entering! =0)
start with your nose, body shape- I like long nosed dolphins. then twist to get the 5 fins. add the white for tummy. outline in black then add plooshes. Finish off with white squirting water and dots. I never used much glitter in my old designs because I didnt have any! lol If I have time Ill redo another dolphin using my new paints and styles I have been learning. But this is basic me.
thanks for looking! yahoo!

well, I have to agree with you there, the model is my beautiful daughter Skye......she was a bit over the face painting by the 3rd dolphin design though!

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Tools: sponge, 3/4 inch flat brush, #4 round, #2 round
Paints: TAG metallic white, TAG metallic purple, TAG metallic blue, TAG metallic blue and purple split
Steps:
1. Use sponge and metallic white to cover eyes and about an inch out and around the top and sides of the eyes, including the bridge of the nose. Blend it into the skin below the eyes. Use a 3/4 inch flat brush and split cake to create a dolphin in the center of the forehead and create a mask outline.
2. Use a #2 round and metallic purple to outline the dolphin. Use a #4 round and metallic white to create a mask shape with swirls and teardrops.
3. Use a #2 round to put purple teardrops in the middle of the white ones, outline the swirls, add, dots, and add a lattice detail on the inside of the mask.
4. Add dots of liquid bling and lips if you would like.

Re: Post Submissions Here!
Is excited to present my full face dolphin! lol I worked hard on this, Im sure you pros with more experience can shipshape it up better, but this is a good start. When I finished I asked LB (my two yr old) what is mommy? She laughs and answers DOLPHIN! So I know it looks like a dolphin! ....unless she heard me muttering. lol
I used a basic cover brush with a wide tip, a small liner brush. Metallic snazaroo blue (the gray is horrible to show up), snazroo light blue, snazaroo black and white
First I drew a basic outline of where I wanted it
then I went over it again with the metallic blue to make it darker and started outlining the nose.
Finished outlining completly
Added my white highlights and water splooshes
Then I decided I wanted to make the nose longer, but didnt know how so I just piuckerd! LOL Heres my finished picture.

Great dolphin design!! I'm not a pro but it most definitely looks like a dolphin to me
Re: Post Submissions Here!
Your dolphin makes me smile tara...especially your expression, that seals the deal. I love it and love that you are thinking outside the box.
