Question- Problem Empty Question- Problem

Post by WickedBA Thu Mar 31, 2011 2:59 pm

I have heard people talking about fixing spray and using hait spray to help "seal" a belly paint. How many of you do this. I used hair spray on the belly I painted the other day. I used Aussie to be exact and it worked great. The mommy to be called me to day because I guess she put more hairspray on it today and it made it all runny and blotchy, and said she used Aussie just like I did. Any ideas

She probably spritzed it too close to the skin or used too much.

I've used my hairspray too...Beautful Brunette. It gives it a nice satiny gloss, like a fresh tattoo. I agree with Linda.

If there is something that can be used instead of hairspray, that would be wonderful! At least a bit more professional-looking, ha ha.

I use Ben Nye's Final Seal. Love it and it has a nice mouth wash clean scent to it. I haven't had any trouble with it running. I spritze it about a foot away from what I am trying to seal. It is great on helping to keep sweat from making the paint run.

It states that the finish is Matte on the bottle, although It does have a little of a sheen after dried.

Question: You did the painting "the other day" and she sprayed it again "today" ??? Wow... how long did she want the painting to last? Or, how long did it last? Amazing!

I use hairspray to Smile I think what Psalmbook said is probably what happened.. I use finesse (dont know if you guys have it in the US- im in Canada.) it works great to make it so they can even cover their belly with loose clothing if its raining outside Smile
