Ok, so I'm in a hotel (1st time away from home in a while) but I brought the new split cake I just made and some dfx samplers and a couple of brushes. But, it's 5 minutes, it's on the spot and I believe in running my heart out when playing tag so here's my flashy teenage girl design. Around here it's all about colour for the teens, they love the assymetrical one eye designs and tribal design influences so here's my 5 minute.

I tag Kim B (Mehndi Masala) to paint what she'd paint on a little boy with a very tough looking dad who insists he wants a butterfly and you know the dad isn't too thrilled about the whole idea.

OK....so the DH HATED sitting for paint and actually whined!! LOL So I did these in just under the 5 and they are a bit messy. NOT how I would have liked to do it! BUT down and dirty under 5 mins it is!! I did two.. Here is 'hellfire butterfly'!
The 'flaming' wings and flame antenae should look a bit more like the actual flames you see in the skull I did below it, but rainbow cake was kinda icky so I'm going to make a 'flame' split so that I can 'clean it up'.

How the flame part should look...


And the next one is Camoflage (sp)/Camo Cranky Butterfly. Again...could have been cleaner, but it worked!



Now that I have the idea, the next ones should look better! LOL

Next up.....cc, Cheri!! I'm thinking...... We've seen the boy 'half monster' face...how about a half face for a girl where the other side is....??? Pretty? Creepy? Your choice!!

THose are so great Kim!!! The body on the camo one looks exactly like this vicious caterpillar I found in my garden this summer- bleck!

LOL it's only a 5 min design so one side of the girl stays the same and the other side is a free for all! I notice that boys get a one side monster face, girls get lotsa tiaras/crowns....figure a girl half face could be different! So one side is the kid au natural....and the other side is either creepy or cute! Maybe cutely-creepy??

Okay, got an idea for both...cute, and then girly-scary
Not sure if I hit the mark, but will put it out there anyway.....
Quick girlie...curls and swirls....

lay down base...dots and teardrops...add a few flowers...done!

Then girlie-scary????

White base...add a horn...some grey around the eye...outline in black, add red tears and heart (wanted to do tears in glittermark, but didn't have red)...quick n easy!
All Wolfe paints...White, Black, Red, lt blue, lt green, Sea blue
Grey Starblends, Paradise hot pink

Kim, I know what you mean. A cute little girl comes up and asks for the half monster face. When she walks away I can hear the snickering, "how could she do that to that cute little girl?" SHE Wanted it and SHE Loves it! hahaha
