TAG, YOU"RE IT FOR 5! A fun way to get ideas for new designs....

A way to get new ideas for 5 minutes designs (or less than 5 minutes!)

Here are the rules:
1. All designs are for everyone to share or interpret
2. Must be 5 minutes or less, you can time yourself on your phone - okay see #3
3. (My favorite, cause I understand Project Runway) - you can show your artist view and then show your 5 minute Interpretation
4. The hardest part will be the "TAG" portion, followed by the "I want to play" portion. Include your avatar name and your real name! (From the first thread, I think there are many cutie-girlys named Kristal?) IT IS UP TOO THE person who wants to play to post their name at the bottom of the list - try not to quote, just copy and paste, and I will do my super best too follow up

5. If you get tagged and want to play, CUT AND PASTE on the list - i.e.

PLAYING NOW/HAVE PLAYED
jumpers4you, Sonya - Yes this will be the first tag!!

6. If you want to play, make sure that you log in daily, and type your name at the bottom of the list I want to play and I stress LOG IN DAILY = seems to be the reason the other TAG thread dies...out......and.......then......goes..............slowly.......................sooooo bored................................Whoa, there's life finally...

So it goes like this...

Then Sonya will post her 5 minute (or less) design and she tags (if she pleases, she can post artistic design and then 5 minute design)
AND HOPEFULLY gloria will be second and she will put her name !cut and paste! and assigment here, etc., etc., ...

So... I have a million dragons, but painted this one this afternoon so I wouldn't feel like I was cheating, and as my ten year old hasn't been cornered for a few months, I figured it was his turn! This is a super fast (and sorry, quite sloppy) dragon. Looked ok until my line work!! I'm sure it would take me only a few minutes, but this one took me about 30 amidst my two year old's interruptions, the phone and the door. We have five kiddos, so life is never simple around here!

That dragon was less than 5 minutes! Wow, looks fantastic.
Also two princess designs, less than 5 minutes each! Your flowers are great and the designs look expesive.

Great idea & great designs. I'll join in the fun next month. I'm taking a social networking fast for the rest of January to focus on God. There's more about it at awake21.org. This is something I've done for the last 5 yrs & has really helped me in my family, my business, etc.

Wow, great designs everyone!

Sonya, I practiced the dragon today and I think I got the basic steps, now I just have to make it my own. I have three little victums, oops I mean little boys, coming into Steamers tonight. I can't wait to practice.

I feel like the addition of this dragon mask has made me a better face painter and I actually feel like I have added value because of it!!! Thanks again Sonya

LMAO!!!! I used to think that about mine!! What brand of white paint are you using? I used to think it was me, and tried several different brands (Snaz, Paradise, Kryolan). Turns out for me it was the paint - my technique was fine. I now use Wolfe white for line work and teardrops are so much easier for me now. I also bought a DFX white, which is very close to Wolfe, but I even struggle with that.. there is just something about Wolfe white going on so much smoother.

@ Sonya, I agree with you about the Wolfe white. It's my fav for dots and swirls.
@Laurie, Sure, I'll give it a go. I've never done a step by step before, but I'm game. Just don't expect a Picasso or Monet!

Fine, Okay, Sonya and cc!!!!!.....except I super heart my wolfe white, my sperm companion, wolfe white - it's me, not you-wolfe white. I love your consistency Wolfe-White, I love the way you load on my brush Wolfe -White, Ouch....It is ME?!?!! I am having a love affair with my Wolfe -White - but I still can't make commas or tear drops or - what ever you call them - one of the top three finishing touches in face painting!! AAAARRRRGGG!!!!Young girlyz wont even notice, and I didn't till a friend pointed it out, and now that's all I see.....
I go from point to push, but I have tried the other way: videos on the tube and toll painting etc. I will continue to practice, that's all I can do...
