Body builder designs ideas??

I have a photoshoot on Monday with a woman body builder. After her session, she is going to let me paint on her, I'm so excited and nervous. Any design ideas? I know it can be anything and I am dying to do some back tribals, but I feel like a have an awesome canvas and dont want to miss out.

Do you know anything more about the female bodybuilder? Like background, where she come's from, what are her dreams (win the championship) what did she had to do to get that far.
Maybe you'll get some inspiration from herselves.

What about painting her skin with some silver exposing the inside with soft stuff like flowers, butterfly etc. Not sure if you get my idea, bodybuilders look tough, that's the metal part but inside she is a soft as any woman.
I picture butterflies flying out of the metal shell. I know, I am a little crazy.

no maggie, i totally get it! I like the "shimmery" and soft part for sure and that is maybe more my style too.

I def. need to learn a little bit more of what her likes are......

Oooh Maggie! What a wonderful idea! I totally "get it" (don't know if I could accomplish it though!) What about tribal/floral - like Kim showed us way back. That too is combining hard and soft.

I was thinking of doing little parts here and there, not the whole body.
hmmm, what about some on one shoulder then butterflies flying out of the opening through the neck to the face, the closer the butterfly is to the face the bigger it gets then you can add little bits of metal on other parts.

Beautiful idea Maggie! Lauri, the thing I like to do most is paint what I want in my portfolio. Most of the time, we have no control over what design we'll be doing, but when you have an open minded person who's willing to let you do whatever you want, you should take advantage. I love painting what people want to make them happy, but I also love painting what I want to paint and that makes me very happy and usually the model as well.

You could do something harder like tribals on the feet/ankles morphing into softer stuff as you go up to the face.

Oh and it's a week from tomorrow... and it's all about me! Tammy wont care what I paint on her, I'm loving the butterfly and garden-esque on the shoulder cause she will be flexing her arms muscles.

It's almost like it's too much, I'm overwhelmed! All I usually do is 5 minute kids at the restaurant, the pressure - eek. Maybe I'll break out my sketchbook and go organic. Thanks!!
