Mini Jam - Face Paint Powders!!

I use my starblends a lot and after watching Vi's video about the other powders on the market I had longeeed to try the other colors. So I went to a site, found them and then I saw the price!!! HOLD THE PHONE! Wayyyy tooo much. So I have decided to make my own pressed powders and my friend Annette (from this forum) is going to come over and make them with me!!! Here are my supplies and well.... Wish us luck!!!!!!

why don't you just keep them in powder form to use???
it may work better that way

not for me, the loose powder just falls all over the face, I prefer pressed. Less waste

Are those pure mineral powders and a mixing solution?

LOL I'm wayy to lazy for the powder pressing I think. I do like the idea of it cause im sure you can mix your colors how you like them.

Do you plan to use these instead of, or in conjunction with Starblends or Ben Nye powders?

What quantity/size of mica powder are the baggies in your first post? Did you use the whole quantity or is the some left for re-fills?

They are just the sample bags that coastal scents sell for like $1.00 a bag I used the whole baggie on each pot

How do they look on skin? Does it go on dry? Do you have a powder-y finish on the face (vs. the matte face paint)?

I will test them tomorrow, it says they have to sit for 24 hours

They are so pretty, I am not sure the complete beautiful sparkleness came through on the photo but here ya go!!

Which colors did you use? Did you use any of the metallic or duochrome micas?

and how much liquid mixing medium did you use? (or how much is left for the next batch?)
