Offering "Fairy Princess Parties" at a Tea Room Restaurant Empty Offering "Fairy Princess Parties" at a Tea Room Restaurant

Post by aussiemarie Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:14 pm

I have been approached by a local restaurant to come up with a plan for Fairy Parties...I provide decorative face paint and the shop provides a little snack. The owner and I both want to Upscale it and are thinking about how to promote it to the community and what to charge?
I am thinking "Day with Mommie", "Father/Daughter Day" or just "Fairey Princess Fantasy" and sell a seat for $15...include the snack, and face paint. ...but there seems to be a need for more like a game or heaven forbid, a song, or a little art and craft project.
ANy experience out there with this? Pricing structure? Activities?

If you're going the crafty route you could have 'em make and decorate a wand. Wooden dowel, wooden star, paint ribbon streamers and stick on gems.. That sorta thing.

THanks...I like the wand idea! And if I knew how to do funny hair and nails I would LOVE to!

When my daughter had a fairy princess party, we played a musical game kind of like a cake walk... walk from one number to the next, then the birthday girl drew a number. Whoever was standing on it got a "prize" like a bracelet or something. You could also play this game for choosing who gets painted next! The paint is the prize. Then remove a number and go again!

You can also craft Princess pointy hats easily..take apart a pointed party hat, trace it a bit larger with pink paper, have some glue and different types of ribbons, shiny curling ribbon, and let the girls make their own princess hats..a bit o tulle for a face cover too if you like...staples work good to hold the hats together, just need adult help with it.

I like fairy Princess Fantasy for the title.

Don't forget to have a fairy princess atmosphere. Check out Pinterest for decorating ideas. It is also good for crafts etc.

I like the craft ideas mentioned. the wand and some kind of head piece. Cake walk does sound like fun.

Do you have room for games and cake walks? That might make a difference in what you do.

$15 is a good price or you could do $20 with a free parent if you add in the craft and activities. Most likely the parents won't get their faces painted or do the craft, but will help with it. Putting a free thing in there like having one parent come with for free with a paying child might make a difference.
