I would have said the exact same thing. High-five to that LOL
Re: Business Cards!
Would it be better to have information such as name, phone, email, website or the washing off instructions? Does anyone find the font gets too small?

Half & Half : Washing instructions on back, contact information on the front.
Try as hard as you can to get the instructions concise. Don't just dash it off in 5 minutes.
When I was trying to figure out how small I could make the font on Vista Print (or my own template) I would hold up a business card at arm's length and then move my chair/body/head closer or farther away from the computer until the sizes matched (the real card in my hand and the card on the screen).
Then I could have a reference for what it might look like in my hand

Re: Business Cards!
Great idea Heff! I have the removal instructions on the back of mine & it's so small I can barely read it.
Re: Business Cards!
I love checking out all you business cards!! I really need to go back and work on my removal instruction wording (and get rid of the awful spelling mistake in the ones I currently have!)
I keep really simple with one face and then my name and contact info.
I like to have a few different faces on different cards.. then the kids have fun picking out their favourite card.

Re: Business Cards!
Oooh and I made this banner recently which I want to turn into a card one day too!
Re: Business Cards!
Those are beautiful! What program do you use for your cards? I have gimp, but no skill with it.
Re: Business Cards!
Kristal, love your card and the ladybug. Would you mind sharing the the instructions on the lady bug. I have a lady bug tea at the Library coming up and thought I might bring some of them. You can pm if you want.
Thank you, Judy,

Re: Business Cards!
I am now thinking of reprinting some business cards, I wanted to know if you guys use a special software to design your cards before you are sending them to print? I am trying to figure how to go about it, using my logo on them and all...

Re: Business Cards!
I started working on these last night. I want something that looks high end but speaks to the kids too This is the front
And this is the back - I will be changing the middle pic, I'm waiting to paint my step-sister's preggo belly first
Is there too much on the back?

Re: Business Cards!
The 2 pics on the front can also be full colour, but I kinda liked the semi-grey scale look with the design... What do you think?
Re: Business Cards!
I think that since you say on it "all the colours of the rainbow" ... it should be more colourful. It's very pretty, but your statement doesn't match your design.
Re: Business Cards!
Ok so I really like how uniform the front is so I'm going to keep it with the 2 cat eye pics, but I added the full colour. I switched up the back to include more pics and I think there's enough colour on there to back up my statement...
Re: Business Cards!
Oh lol, I just realized that the pic on my posts changes when I edit it on Vistaprint.
So anyway I REALLY like this one! I think the front is really feminine though... hopefully that doesn't make much difference

Re: Business Cards!
Although I don't feel confident enough to really start a business yet, I do want to start somehow. Therefore I am creating a business card.
I really would like to know from you ladies what you think of the design?

Re: Business Cards!
Creabella, I find the cursive font difficult to read... it needs to be larger and less curly lol. I would make all of the fonts larger actually
Your designs are great, you have a boy, a girl, and a neutral design. However, your photos should be of smiling faces!
Good start!

Thanks already for your input. I'll work on smiling faces for the pictures.
Re: Business Cards!
I think the designs are GREAT! When I put together my business cards I didn't put any pictures on them but my hubby recently designed some rack cards for me. I made sure I put a photo of a girl in paint, a boy in paint and an adult. I think it is important to show it's not just for kids because I have gotten alot of parents that WANT painted but felt like it would be silly. Keep your face in at least one but show that smile! If you don't look excited about your work you can't expect other people will be either...
Re: Business Cards!
Aaaaannndddd.....
When you put white next to your adult teeth and eyes, they look yellowy. Choose a pale pink or gold to do your white around your eyes and teeth.
I am talking through my 52 year old teeth that I wish were whiter.
