I took some of my old obsolete business cards and wrote on them with a Sharpie pen "Good for 1 FREE face painting". Before it got busy at the festival this past weekend, I walked around and any vendor's booth I came to, I asked if they would have any kids sitting their booth. If they did, I gave them enough cards for the number of kids and told them to be sure and come get painted. They would be my advertisement for me (I was at the very far end of the festival, by the kids rides). all in all I only ended up painting maybe 6 free faces on both days, but these kids were scattered throughout the festival at booths. I also placed stickers on them "I was painted by Ms. Lorie" + my website address. they would turn in those free cards so I still have them for the next event.

Great idea! I love to paint the vendor kids for free. Many times they are there for such long hours and it is a nice treat!

I use them for flicking blood (fake paint!!) with a brush onto my victims!!
