Thank you Valerie A. I really appreciate it. I have been having trouble with placement of the design on a face. And I need so much more practice.
I am just so frustrated trying to upload pics. I hope you can help me. I have run out of ideas to upload and I read and re-read the instructions.

Love all the gorgeous work here!! I just wish I had some to share... I have lots of paintings on my arm, but none of the children that I've painted... I never seem to remember to ask permission to take a photo!

Gypsy... I know in another forum I am on, I use the IMG code to put a photo in my post... when you click on the Links button in Photobucket, choose the last one at the bottom .. IMG codes.... copy that link and just paste it in your post and your photo will show up...  not sure if new members have to wait a while before they can post photos or not though? I'm not sure.. I'm relatively new here myself!!!

Thank you. I tried the Img code but maybe I copy and paste but maybe I put it in the wrong place. I will try again. I should have a lot more pics. too but when we are busy it's hard to stop and take a pic. I don't like holding up the line just so I can take a pic. I always like to take a few pics. in case I did a bad job on the first one. So that's worst. I will though if I have time and a short or no line at the end of the day. But we do miss some really good pictures. I have a line manager but she cannot take a decent pic to save her soul. I showed her how to steady her elbows so she does not shake and how to get up in the childs face and on their level. But she does not remember those important things. Jeez. So if I can't take the pic. I do not want her to anymore.

Okay, I hope it works for you!! Your line manager sounds like me... my photo taking skills leave a lot to be desired!! I normally leave it up to someone else to take photos at family gatherings etc.! I had a peek at your photos.. they're just lovely!!! I adore the one with the flowers and teardrops on that cute little girl with the freckles!!

My photobucket instructions, I hope this helps

1st, I copy the HTML code under the "links to share this photo" code tab on the far right. The whole code must be copied to work.


 
2nd, in the forum, paste the entire code. Always starts with "< a" and ends with "a >" without any spaces at all.


3rd, press preview to be sure the codes came out right


Multiple photos look like a whole lot of gibberish and if there is an extra space or character anywhere it won't work.  Must be the whole thing or nothing.

And you get this:

I used my phone to do this but the steps are the same.

Oh, and if you decide to move the photos to a new album or take them off of photobucket they'll disappear here, learned that the hard way...

I will try again. I thank you for the instructions and I understand coping the whole link. I am not sure what to copy it to except the box here where is say upload. Right?
I was hooked on Lady Bugs and did vines and ladybugs so many different ways last year. Now I am hooked on Lizzies woopies or whatever they are. I saw one on a kids arm last year and I did it. It's just a plain thing. But when I saw Lizzie's I went nuts over them. I am going to upload it asap. I want to ask Lizzie what she thinks about my woopie. I don't know what it's called. She said they originated here in the States but I must have been busy in the 70's because I don't remember them. But I love them thanks to Lizzie.

I'm still a newbie in the facepaint world, but here's some from me.  Every face is a step better!

Perfect! Instead of using the "email" link though, I use the HTML one (3rd box down), but this worked just fine

   

I am so pitiful when it comes to computers. I am so sorry. Thanks for trying to help me. I do appreciate it. I will get it soon. YOu see I told you it was me that did not know what I was doing.

The first one was great I figured out you just need to click the box in photobucket and it says "copied" then just click "paste" it into the forum text box and you're done. I'm on a computer now so it's easier to explain.

I got that. It's is hard to see and explain things when using a cell phone. I know I tried it with other things to help someone and it is difficult to say the least.

Just wait until you're trying to put together a web page  

Your pics are beautiful by the way. I did take time to look at them and they are beautiful. I wish my geek friend was near right now. I can just go next door when I am in the country but I can't here.

Oooh gorgeous face painting Patty! I love your Christmas ones!! I am gearing up, trying to practice some for an event I have booked for Christmas... I'll be there for 5 hours, so I need a few designs tucked up my sleeve to be ready to paint!! And very nice Hunger Games design as well! I bet a lot of people were impressed, even if they didn't actually say anything to you!!

Still trying to get your photos to show Gypsy? Isn't it so frustrating when you can't get things to work!! I'm sure you'll get there though with Andre's help!!!   

Hi Andrea!  Love your pics too!! Marvellous!! I had a laugh where you said the little boy was squinting... I haven't been face painting for that long.... and haven't had a lot of experience with painting actual faces... so when I started, I was unprepared for squinting and wriggling etc... One little boy squinted as well for me when I was doing the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle...I was nowhere near his eyes either!! He then decided he'd had enough and started wriggling out of the chair! Thankfully I had the turtle face and mask just about on... no nice outlining though.... I'm now more prepared for little wrigglers!

If I had been there, I would have bought one of your lovely wreaths!! Very nice!   And love the look of your kit... are they stamps at the back there? Do you have stamp pads for those as well or do you paint the face paint on them?
