Show and Tell #6 Nov - December 2013

Beautiful page!  I only got to see it on my phone so I'm sure I didn't get the whole feel but it looks very professional. The one part with the gradient is a little hard to read (not too bad) because the text gets list in the color, but other than that I think it looks great!

I really need to work on mine..  . I have a hard time getting around the site, and I really need to update my photos... If only my kids would let me paint them again. They now refuse unless I pay, and even then its iffy. I know there is a topic up about this now somewhere on here. This is also another reason I have started to paint myself more now. I would much rather paint my 12 year old daughter, or my 8 year old son. Oh well. Any how, yours looks beautiful!

Thanks amy! There is a good thread about website advice michael magick gave some great advice. My kids are 10, 8, 7, 4, and 18 mo. My older four beg to be painted so I'm taking advantage while they still love it and it is a novelty.

saw a cute HK forehead mask, had to try it...didn't like it-regular HK is faster.but, will try again now that I have my white starbends.

Finally got a picture of my one-stroke bunny!

Adorable! I love the HK and how it the nose is at the top instead of at the end, makes it better IMO.  Ruby, your bunny looks so fluffy! I think I should hold back the "I want to cuddle this adorable bunny" mode on some poor, random stranger kid  that would not be good...

I love the pink spider-girl and that bunny is so cute!! Did you use a berry one-stroke cake? I must try that! Su much better than a plain white bunny.

that bunny is awesome!i'd have to add some bunny teeth and a carrot finger. but I LOVE the way it looks!

oh my heck!! It worked! (Happy dance of joy!!!) this is my youngest daughter with a fairy mask for her birthday last week.

that looks wonderful! I love the darker pink flower center. I was at the craft store and they had a sale on pretty lightweight flowers-you can glue them on with eyelash glue.bet it would make a nice accent with your design.

Thanks nancy and nikkili I was inspired by a design I found on pintrest. I haven't made up my own design yet. Hopefully I'll get to that point someday. For now, I'm thankful for so many of you willing to share designs on here.

Ok, I love all the pics. they are great. Thoartbeautiful told me I should post. I agree it's time that I post a pic. But it won't upload. What am I doing wrong?

That's what I have been doing. I hit that button and the pic won't download. So I go and re-size my image and nothing happens. I did it with several pics. but nothing. I think I need to go and read the instructions on the how to post a pic again. I am doing it in a jpg. format. But I am obviously doing something wrong.

It won't let me upload from my phone, I have to do it on a computer.  I usually use photobucket and post the HTML link instead. When you push host button, does it allow you to browse and pick a photo? Jpg should be fine, for some reason a lot of people have trouble.

Yes it does let me browse my files. They are in jpg. format. I click the other window as the instructions say then host it and it says I do not have a file chosen. But I did chose #27 many times. I have never used photobucket but I will try it out. Thank you for the suggestion.

It took me awhile to figure it out. Annoying technology turns out I was copying the wrong link. So, double check when you are pasting link that is the right one.

I tried different ways to a little after 1 AM then just said, tomorrow is another day. I tried to post so many times. I went back and forth reading those instructions and had no luck. Then I took thouartbeautifull's advise and went to photobucket. I understand I need a host site. That makes perfect sense. Then I had a problem with the url. I am literate in using my PC and searching and finding whatever I need to. But when it goes this deep I am illiterate. I will get it there but it is going to take me some time. When something goes wrong like this it makes we want to find a way to do it all the more. I don't want a simple post a pic. to beat me. Things like this even in the past has kept me up all night sometimes just because I am thinking of ways that I should of or will try the next day.

I have never used photobucket but thouartbeautiful told me to try it last night. I did and I am now still trying to find out the URL of what to put into my page here. I know what an URL is but how do I find it is the problem. I am stumbling around back and forth.

Ok, I did not upload but if you go to my at my Avatar and there are the four boxes underit. Box one with the star, box 2 is a PM box 3 is email box 4 is gallery. I am linked to photobucket. But you have to hit the fourth box and it should come up. Let me know if it works for you and what you think of my pics. It worked for me and I hope is works period. Thanks to all of you.

Thanks! You are sweet. I just used a round brush, #6, I believe.
