On a side note, I am celiac and noticed they make some gluten-free beer. I have tried a few that are available locally in my area in BC and they aren't great to my taste buds, but might be good if you like a darker ale. *sigh* I miss real beer the most out of everything, I think.
Very cool car decal!
My husband is celiac and my parents got him GF beer as a cute gift for Christmas. I tried it and actually prefer it over regular beer! :-)
Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Just got my new RAV4 wrapped... was supposed to be EXACTLY the same as the old wrap, the company lost the file from last time so said they wouldn't charge for the design/set-up... they had photos to work from... took TWO MONTHS for them to schedule it.
Dropped her off on Friday, they had a glitch so I drove around in a half naked RAV until yesterday. They finish... IT IS NOT THE SAME. And the price is 50% more than the entire job was last time! They dropped it a bit, but I went back this afternoon to discuss the mistakes...
The didn't even get the sides screwed up the same way... how can you mess it up when you have photos of it??
They offered to redo the screwy side, but I'd rather they knocked off a few more hundred....

That sux, Shannon! I'd be upset for sure... first, that they lost the file and second, that they messed it up.
I've definitely been getting attention from it. No one has said that they are booking me because of it yet, but my husband was talking with someone the other day and mentioned his wife is a professional clown. The guy says, "really? what name does she use?" He tells him and the guy is like, "no way! I just followed that car yesterday and thought it was such a cool name!" ... brand recognition

Perry Great job and outstanding price. Thanks to Shannon answering questions for me a while back I really looked into a wrap for my van. WHAT a nightmare. Living in a small community makes somethings quite difficult. Some of the proofs were a joke...so I finally designed it myself and thought that would help.
The sign shop honestly did not know what a paint splotch looked like...I painted it on paper and hand delivered it...they sent proofs with angles and straight edges...I colored them in and rounded them out and added paint drips...they STILL didn't get it. I googled paint splotches and emailed them 10 examples. They have my van now and I'm praying for miracles. Keep my poor van in your good thoughts...couldn't afford the wrap price had to do partial and vinyl...but I want the advertising to keep everyone working.
First time I've ever had to advertise but have no doubt the vehicle is the way to go after research.
I use the business card caddy on my display signs when I'm working...puts it in easy reach of folks without them being at my table.

Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Well, good luck witht the van install!!
The sign shop knocked another couple hundred off the wrap for the "mistakes"... I peeled off the strips on my back doors to make the sides look a little more consistent seeing as they completely screwed up the "fade to white" aspect of the black background on one side.
And people won't be looking at both sides at the same time so probably no one else will notice but, that fading was a real key point of the whole look of the vehicle... argh.
Anyhow, the price was reduced enough so that it came in just under the amount I was given to cover it when I bought my new one in February.
The only change from my previous wrap (other than the screw-up) was adding my FB business page to my rear window along with my website.

Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Shannon, that's so funny that one side could be different from another when that was one of the BIG disagreements I had with sign shops. I wanted fp featured on one side, characters available on the other and they kept saying both sides had to be the same...like the vinyl is going to weight more on one side and TIP OVER! I told them you couldn't see both sides at the same time and it would just look like we had a fleet on the road. Isn't it unbelievable that you would have such a difficult time spending large chucks of money when people are suppose to not have business? A client that calls me wanting to spend several thousand dollars is getting every courtesy, every effort that we can possible put forth with great attitude...in fact when you call and spend only $150 you get that!!!
Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Perry, is the QR code something the sign shop puts on? Sign shop never offered it and I'm not familiar with it. Is it just like a sticker? Need info from those of you out there more technical than me. Which really wouldn't take much!!!! Thanks

I think Google answered my own question, but wonder why when I made it so clear I wanted facebook like on my van the shop didn't offer QR code also?
Sometimes doing business in a small farming community is difficult...sure do miss the days of being on the road...Tokyo I hear you calling......................

Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
The QR code is something that I generated myself online. It goes to my website when you scan it with an app on your phone that is made to read them. I use on called Red Laser, but there are a bunch of them. I guess they are more prevalent in other parts of the world than in North America. The point of them is to give people an easy way to get to a particular website or email or something while they are out and about with just their phone. (don't email them or post them on your facebook or anything... it's easier to just give them a clickable link there, but it's good for on your tent or banner at an event or in this case on my car... if they say, walk by it in a parking lot or something)
Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
Thanks Perry, I hadn't thought about my tent or on signs at gigs!!! How about business card anyone doing that? Isn't it great to have a community to bounce ideas around???
Re: window wrap on my car ... SQUEEEEEEEEEE!
it's a little bit hard to get it big enough and clear enough to scan properly on a business card without taking up too much real estate. I stick with just writing my website on my business card
