Can we hit 50 submissions this time???

Ok, for a UV pallet... you've got me convinced. Here is my Fall/Winter face. Everything is Snazaroo for paints, then I used Mama Clown's Fairy Dust on the winter side and bronze liquid bling on the fall side. The base is sponged, the rest is done with either a large round brush or a liner brush. I hope that's enough details in my description of materials. And I hope this slideshow posts properly... I haven't done one before.

aw... thanks guys It means a lot coming from you guys that you like it. When I started out on here I felt seriously under par, you are all so incredible... so really, I am floored when you all say my work is good.

The fact that step-by-steps HAVE to be included really cuts my participation. I have LOTS of seasonal stuff but, no time to repaint them to take SBS photos... oh well.

I find I don't remember to take the pics as I paint LOL

I second that..... I paint some great stuff and forget to take pics!

I hate it when that happens! I have a tendency to arrange for a model to come over specifically FOR painting to take step-by-step photos...we get busy chatting while I paint... then she says as we are almost finished... "weren't you going to take step photos?" ARGH

I've done this not once.... no twice... but FIVE times!!!!!!!!

Get a photographer
(and make sure they know what it is they should make pictures of! I have made that mistake..)

Ladies, in the interest of furthering ideas....how about posting your cool themed stuff in the appropriate contest areas, just for us to 'google' at and get ideas from! It might not make it into the contest, but we can appreciate your awesome work, none the less!

But hey, maybe Metina only wants contest stuff posted in these sections, so maybe we better see what she thinks!!

I get just as much value from looking at 'final pics' though, for ideas and pure appreciation of other's art!

ok, so 2 pages into this thread and mine is the only submission? I mean, I'd love to win that pallet, but it's not much of a competition with just me

Last moth most of the submissions came in within the last week or something.

My camera crapped out on me and the only way i have to take pics without organizing some grand scheme with friends, is with my laptop. That never looks good........now i must plan to scheme heh heh heh

I'm lazy.....

I have an idea that I hope to try on my daughter - just haven't had the time to do it yet *G*. And seeing that I am quite new to face painting, I have no idea whether my idea will turn out ok *LOL*.

Some ideas dont turn out, but you always have to try, or you'll never know.
