Re: Lets paint dragons?
Love everyone's dragons. There is something to learn from each one of you.
Here are a few of mine.
My quick 2 minute dragon, for super long lines. This was the choice for three boys at a party last weekend, they liked them because they were above the eyes. I have changed the lines a bit to look more tribal.
Chinese style. One of the hardest designs I have tried to paint.

Liz, I like that middle one, would be a great alternative for a boy that wanted a unicorn mask. Nice design.

Re: Lets paint dragons?
Okay, here are a few of my dragons... not as epic as many of the ones posted here, but not bad either.
My cheek art dragon.
FOrgot where the inspiration for this came from, but the scale effect was 1st taught to me by Paula Biggio
obviously inspired by Marcela Murad
And Finally, a special request from Adam "Knute" Schill 2 years ago at the Clown Forum Spring Fling. He wanted a dragon eating a barrel of pudding, lol.

Loving this thread, wonderful dragons everyone! I'm in love with Liz's green (and fast!) mask and that Marcela's inspired one!

Ok, I'm finally getting around to mine...
Did these a long time ago:
Did on my thigh last year:
Various ones I've done (quicky)
Ones I've done recently trying to get the hang of a quick Chinese Dragon:

Re: Lets paint dragons?
Wow! Wonderful dragons! Here are some of mine.
I did this guy about a week or 2 ago.
I painted this on my son for the circus since their theme was dragons. It's a rare moment because of his tactile issues.

Re: Lets paint dragons?
Look at all the awesome Dragons!
Emerald that is fantastic - so doesn't look like a first attempt!
Kumi I love that your Dragons look magical... and that the wings are the highlight of the design! The wing shapes are masterful!
Got to ask - where are the pink girly ones ones? lol
I must confess my daughter asked for a pink one - I had to explain that it needed the purple to add depth and dimension.
It was only when I was nearly done and said " oooo he looks mean" that she said " no mummy she is a girl"..... um yeah alright... I thought about putting eyelashes and lips on the dragon for about a min... and then said " yeah well this ones a boy.... sorry.... next one will be a girl" - she loved him anyway...
I know Michelle has a full face girl dragon but I think it's the only one I've seen?
I'm thinking I would love a pink girly dragon on my board .... have to see what I can come up with.
