Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
It REALLY bothers me that my box of tissues and bottle of hand sanitiser are sitting crooked in the rack in this photo. I seriously need help. OCD much?

I love that! I was thinking about getting one of those tables, but bought a fat max instead. Now I want one of these too! Lol. BTW had to scroll back up to see the crookedness
Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
I love it chair is my next spend, in reguards to the tissues,(I scrolled up too.) after being on this forum a while I am starting to think that a prerequisite of face painting is a small amount of OCD.
My kit constantly annoys me, My husband say its fine
You even got a stepping stool that fits perfect under the chair, Now I want one that dose that, when I get the chair as it will bother me - LOL

I want a stepping stool too! But I think I want one that's tall enough to double as a foot rest. I hate swinging feet.

Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
Here is my question about the table: When it is folded up is there space in the middle to stash some stuff or do you have to carry it all seprate and unload everything like with a regular folding table?
Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
Geekophile, I have one like that - I got it at Bass Pro.
The table breaks down to be put into a canvas tote.
The little sink can come out, the bottom shelf is removable, as is the wire frame for a bag, and the wire backing.
You could possibly put a few things in the canvas tote, but, it would quickly get heavy.
I might put flat objects in it... but, nothing bulky

I got it from simplycamping.com.au cost $129 plus postage. The brand is DMH, they're out of business now but a lot of companies still have stock.. try ebay too. Primus (Kookaburra) have one exactly the same but more $$.
Pack up- The shelf lifts off and is placed on the table, the top folds down and legs fold in. Everything stays attached. I use a strap to attach my folded up diectors chair to it and I can carry them both together using the handle on the table. Easy-peasy! Probably weighs about 15kg together.
Storage- This model didn't come with a bag but it came with 2 'spice racks' and I leave the things in them but pop them in the sink to pack up. Without those I'd be able to leave other stuff in there of course. I also leave my thick framed mirror in the table and I could leave my laptop type cases there if I wanted to but prefer to have them in my bag so I can use them at home without needing to unpack the table.
I'm also in love with my kit bag... tool bag with shoulder strap from Bunnings $30... Yay for Bunnings!
Stepping stool is great but I'd love a folding one so I can pop it in my bag too.

that table is awesome.... WISH LIST!!
Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
Awesome setup!
Warning... I had that chair & it's not real sturdy(I replaced it w/ an aluminum one after a year). Also, be careful as little kids might fall out the back. My new chair has a piece of cloth connecting the back area where the hole is.

I couldn't find that one in particular, but I found this similar one with an extra side table and paper towel holder.... I want.

Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
I got a long stretchy pillowcase at Target & cut off one end so it slips over the back of the chair and prevents a little guys from sliding through. (I stitched shoe laces on the front to tie on the corners so I don't have to constantly re-arrange it between kiddos).
Also I found a FOLDING stool (that fits in my chair bag) at "getorganized.com"!

Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
I'd have to get it out and measure it ( That's what HE said!) but from memory it's about 77cm from floor to flat table part.
Another feature- it has a lantern pole which I'm going to hang a tall banner from.

Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
Nice set up. I'm sure we have a camping table buiried somewhere in the shed which is kinda similar to that. I'll have to go hunting for it. Although I do have a fat max already which as you all know is also your table. Hmm wonder which would be better??
That's the chair I have. You def need a stool for the kiddos. I had a small one, but need a taller one coz they still needed me to give em a lift up into the chair, and some little kids just aren't that little. Nearly let out a "naughty word" when I lifted one little girl into it, and had to clench my teeth so as not to let out an old lady groan. LOL. If I do manage to make a go of this I think I'll be buying one of those sweet aluminium ones down the track. The kids also were pretty hesitant to climb into it. They were worried about falling out the back like Linda said.

Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
I don't use my fatmax as a table, if I bring a table it's one of those 4 ft resin ones and it's pretty heavy ... aluminum sounds lighter and this has so much more to it...
Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
I actually have this chair in my camping gear, but seriously, it is HEAVY! How do you tote it all around and then the chair and stool and add in the paint - holy cow! I would absolutely do this for festivals but do you do this for all events?
Re: I'm so in love with my super awesome new table! (and chair)
Well the table and chair strapped together weigh about 15kg and I carry that by the handle and have my kit bag over my opposite shoulder. It wouldn't be fun to drag up flights of stairs or whatever but I'm happy enough to carry it from my van to the client's backyard despite the weight because it looks proffessional, clean and tidy and it's such a great space to work from. lol did I mention I'm in love with my table??
The chair back actually slides on and off so I slip it down about half way to make the gap significantly smaller - I dont think anyone will fall out. I hold onto the arm when kids climb in and out to keep it steady... so far I'm really pleased with it. I might've gone with an aluminium chair if I'd found one in the same price range but I also liked the fact that this one was black.
