My Kit, Table and Chair :)
I posted a couple pics on another thread but I have since sprayed most of my gear black to make it more uniform and I'm considering spraying the table too.
There are 2 setups, one with the paints to the left and the other with the paints in the middle. I'm trying to figure out the most effective one.
So here we go
The binder has all my documentation such as my criminal record check and such and such. I'll be doing a write up about safe face painting to display there as well as some pictures of my good work.
All in all it's very quick to set up and take down other than dumping the water, I always feel unprofessional asking to dump it down the client's drain... I'm thinking of getting cups with twist off lids so I can dump when I get home...

Re: My Kit, Table and Chair :)
I have the same chair...what do you have hanging off it?
I was thining of getting that table too but i use an aluminum folding camp table instead (but i find it just a tad short!)
Looking at your kit makes me want to go reorganize my paints

Re: My Kit, Table and Chair :)
The table is awesome! It's so lightweight and goes up in seconds, notice the towel ring I screwed to the end of it lol.
The chair just has a bag hanging, I use it to carry my mirror, money, and camera in while carrying everything in. I use it as a strap to basically attach the chair to my back so I can carry my table and bag in one trip. I'll take a pic, it's impossible to explain!
I love a clean kit and I kinda miss my laptop case because it looked so nice. I'm liking the bead case though because of all the colours I can hold.
The coolest part is the big container on top, it's actually double sided do the bottom holds all my glitter tattoo supplies

@Debra - it's a good idea for any business directly involved with children. I've also been required to complete it to work for public schools.
Re: My Kit, Table and Chair :)
The ice cube tray is really quite convenient. Cost me 10 cents at a garage sale, and I really love how available my sponges are, especially since I'm one of the dreaded one sponge per colour people. I can easily see what sponge is for what cake without having them directly on the paint which I think looks messy.
I have a black zip bag with the rest of my sponges in the big pocket hanging from the table in case I need more.
And the criminal background check was actually required when I was hired by a school board. It's a nice piece of mind for everyone.

Thanks Kim, things are well! I brought my rates up and people are still booking so I must be doing something right.
I just read the original post and had to laugh at the lack of the word "it" in the last sentence

To volunteer at SickKids,
I need my police background check,
my inoculations up to date, yearly TB tests done, and
you do not need to have a flu vaccine, unless you want to work directly with patients.

Re: My Kit, Table and Chair :)
How would you NOT work directly with patients if you're a face painter
