What do you think of this table?
I'm looking into purchasing a table on the go, and I can across this guy - http://www.ebay.ca/itm/GELERT-QUICK-ERECT-CAMPING-CAMP-KITCHEN-CUPBOARD-COOKING-FURNITURE-FOLDING-NEW-/200762001446?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Camping_furniture_ET&hash=item2ebe590826#rpdId
I like how it has the walls and the storage, does anyone have one to offer a review?

That windshield would be handy as a 'sticky fingers' shield. Plus you could attatch sings to the back/sides of it.

Re: What do you think of this table?
That's what I was thinking... I had a birthday girl who felt entitled to touch all my brushes and paint this past Saturday... I put her in her place pretty quickly when I realized her mom wasn't going to.
Re: What do you think of this table?
it seems too small for me, but if you think you can fit what you need on top, go for it. Would you use the storage part of it for a party though? The cupboard would only be holding stuff after it's been set up so you wouldn't bring stuff in the cupboard.
I want a camp kitchen terribly for festivals where I'm there all weekend and have to bring all my gluten free food with me... and the one I want is on sale right now at Canadian Tire..... I'm just trying to be really sure that I'll actually use it and like it more than the plain 4 ft table I bring with me now.

Re: What do you think of this table?
I think I would put snacks, drinks, scrapbook bag, and garbage maybe?
The wind breakers are what's really driving me, but I was thinking it would be too small also.
There's also this one I found on the Canadian Tire website - http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/5/SportsRec/Camping/CampsiteOrganizationStorage/PRDOVR~0761465P/Broadstone+Organizer+Stand.jsp?locale=en
The table space would be better, and it would keep my drinks cold

Re: What do you think of this table?
Yeah I saw that in the flyer... I'll have to go and compare. I'm not doing any festivals yet, but I may be painting at the Georgetown Fall Fair if they ever get back to me lol.
I painted at a little girl's party this past Saturday and when I got there (it was held at our local Splash Pad) they brought me to a little plastic disney princess table/stool set. I'm pretty sure my face fell flat haha! I actually had to kneel the whole time...

Re: What do you think of this table?
I don't bring tables and chairs to private parties. In an event like that, I would have found the nearest picnic table or wherever the adults were sitting and worked off of my fatmax if necessary (though I don't like to because everything feels wobbly when my water is on there).
Re: What do you think of this table?
This is the one I am lusting in my heart for.

Re: What do you think of this table?
Oh how I wish they were black... I have it in my mind that black is professional and I fully intend to paint everything I have black lol. I find it makes the designs stand out more. I want an easel for my display too... I know that had nothing to do with the topic but I'm getting all giddy thinking about a clean, professional set-up
Re: What do you think of this table?
I was looking at that one too, fesspainter, but I really want the sink and the cupboard.
Re: What do you think of this table?
I like it but I think I'd like more surface area...(for me anyways).

Which is why it's worth having your own table/chairs, even though it does mean extra stuff to lug around. The last party I painted I had my table, but didn't have chairs at that point...and they pulled out the little kiddy chairs - I had stomach cramps by the time I left from being so folded up (I ordered chairs the next day) I was SO glad I had my own table because otherwise they thought I could use a small corner of the dining table, amongst all the food...

Re: What do you think of this table?
Some people... I don't think they understand what kind of service they're hiring sometimes lol
Re: What do you think of this table?
this is a DJ table with folding legs...I think it would work similar to an artist on the go table...and alot cheaper...

I love that the height is adjustable - up to 38” I believe. But at 31 pounds kind’ve heavy.
Re: What do you think of this table?
I have one similar to this model:
It's very handy, because it doesn't weigh that much, and is very compact in a bag you can swing over your shoulder while carrying all the rest of your equipment.
I've put in my general terms & conditions that a table, water, etc. should be provided by the customer, and can be brought by myself at an extra charge.
It helps customers to 'remember' they should have a table ready when I arrive :-)

Re: What do you think of this table?
I love the roll top tables....wish they made one that was 36” tall though.
Re: What do you think of this table?
yeah the dj table are heavy but they will last you a life time you maybe can put folding legs on it with wheels
Re: What do you think of this table?
your welcome Tash..I would ask about how they open up or maybe they can send a picture to you...my husband DJ'd for years and some of his hold casset cases are very very durable...they have metal corners and vinyl out sides...they will last you a life time....
Re: What do you think of this table?
I'm not sure how much room you need but I use this table, it's light weigh, i can tie it to the top of my scrap book tote that i use for my paints etc
