Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
I bought one of these at FABAIC and I'm excited to get it. They were nice enough to customize it a bit so it is taking a little extra time to get it, but I promise a review when I start using it.

Congratulations!
I am so looking forward to your review.
My FatMax is just over a year old, and it broke.
I need something new.

What is the cost of these? They look pretty cool!

They aren't cheap, but I keep looking at them myself. Would love to hear your review when you get it.

I figure they cost more but I'd rather spend more upfront. Plus I've got the girl in town with the cool market cart that hooks to her bike and folds open into a sweet little booth. I need to have something a little cool too

Congratulations!
Can't wait for the review!
I'm especially interested in how much it weighs. Is this the bamboo version (lighter)?

Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Mine is bamboo and from what I tried at FABAIC, it was pretty heavy.
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Vi from sparklingfaces on you tube has a review on the one she has
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Yep, I saw Vi's but I think it is a much earlier model. Mine is bamboo and has the chair hook, which she was wanting for hers.

Hi Gina, just wondering if you had got your table and if so how it was working out?

Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Yes! I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to arrange everything and I'll be actually be using it for the first time on "the job" tomorrow. ...stay tuned.
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
I really don't think that for the price it can't beat the FAT MAX, or the gun table anniel uses.
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
i like the rolling gun case that anniel uses..it looks very cool...she could very eaisly add folding legs to it with wheels
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Gina i was wondering how did the table worked out for you in the end?
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
I don't want to add legs as the case balances very well on tables of nearly any dimension.(I write the need for providing a regular height table into the contract.) The table is beautiful and I drooled over it--but it is out of my price range, and when I I had to leave a mountain gig with lots of stairs and the poor table had to also--I lost my kit envy for it. On the other hand--it is ideal for festival type work where you are set up for hours or days on end.
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Love it, I am using a rifle case and love it, but it seems I am a fickle and would try about anything to make things beautiful and efficient!! I think I may have Kit ADD
Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Me too... always looking for something... i love/loved the Fat Max and love my suitcase/makeup table. .. love the look of the gun table etc too. and really like the one who has the portable camping kitchen too. ... WANT....IT... ALLLLL!~..lol

Re: Bought an Artists On The Go table/kit.
Just thought that I would throw my two cents in there...
While I don't own an Artist on the Go Table.. I do know several people with them and I have used one, and I have worked with people who use them.
1. Yes, they are heavy, but imho, no more heavy than a fully loaded down Fat Max.
2. They look very professional.
3. You can fit a lot of stuff in these things... a lot, but not as much as a fat max.. if you're a nutty tackle tart crazy person... you'll want an extra bag of stuff.
4. the chair hook, legs, wheels, and the box itself are all very well made.. very sturdy.
5. they take a little getting used to for set up and break down.. but once you're used to it, you'll be able to breeze right through it.
Like I said, I don't have one.. but I've worked around them a lot(at a State Fair) and I was impressed with them. I will be ordering one at some point!

Also, they are now coming out with a "travel" version.. which is a nice wooden box about the size of a briefcase, which opens up and lays flat on a table top... it is also very cool and well made!
