Pashur's class - review Empty Pashur's class - review

Post by KathyO Wed Jul 08, 2009 8:53 am

I recently took a class from Pashur. He taught us face painting slills this time as he is know for his body painting.
It was a fabulous class. I learned how to do 3 D shading and some really cool scales amoung other things. He taught us a really cool spider too. If you have a chance to take his one day face painting class do as he is worth it and the cost is not that bad at all. He is going to try and put together a airbrush body painting class in Columbus Ohio which is going to be just awesome. I will let you know when that comes up.

I will post some pictures of what I did at the class in my gallery soon. I haven't had a chance to down load my pictures yet but I will soon.

Pictures! Pictures! I am especially interested in 3-D effects. I've heard some great things about Pashur's classes! I was signed up to see him at the Fete but ended up not being able to make it.

I took Pashur's class in Virginia and had a blast learning so many new things, sharpening my skills, and my work has improved so much! He is a through and fun instructor, taking the time to come around the room to each one of us making sure we 'got' each design.
Pashur took this picture during his class timed team excersize. We didn't waste a millisecond!

I wish he would share some of the class photos showing his designs that he posted on other forums. They are so tantalizing, I have a special jar that gets filled faster to take more of his classes every time I see his new photos.
Dont miss it, his class rocks! I love you

I took Pashur's class in Charlotte. I was a tad intimidated to go because, OK, you see the name "Pashur", and think......world famous master body artist. (and I've only been painting about 2 years...so yeah, serious intimidation factor there pale )

What I got out of his class was tons of ideas that I can use. Yes, even me the "newbie". The best thing is that he was very personable, down-to-earth, friendly & patient and if he saw that you weren't quite getting a technique, he'd stop and help you, or ask if everyone understood what he had just done before moving on. Did I mention fun too?

I'm with Susan, if you can, take one of his classes.
....he's a great teacher!
cheers

I can vouch for that! Pashur really put me at ease both times he painted me and he is also an amazing instructor--the best piece of advice I got from him was never to negatively criticize your own work because your paintee might just LOVE it Smile
