Google+ anyone?

Anyone want a Google+ invitation? I've got invites to distribute if anyone is interested. For those of you don't know what I'm referring to here's a description-

The Google+ project will do some of the same general things as Facebook, such as sending messages to friends, sharing links, chatting, and sharing pictures, but the big difference is that with Google+, you can choose who you want to share these things with. Is this a Beta test?

Not really a beta test by name, but for all intents and purposes....kinda. Google always launches things like this. It does allow them to get the "bugs" out, but it also makes people anticipate it more I think...I know my husband was seeking out opportunities to obtain an invite on twitter, and once he got his I was in .

The features I LOVE are that you can make a circle for family, one for friends, one for Face Painting Friends....then when you post something you get to choose which circles see that post or picture or whatever. The other feature I could see being useful is "Hangouts" which are video chat sessions with MULTIPLE people. I'm gonna use that for my family who's all over the US, but I could see maybe internet Jams?

I'd like to try it.

At the moment, it feels as if I've another foot attached to my ankle... and someone else's calf and thigh.. (nerve (something) damage)... I'm having to use a walker... My Grandmother laughs so hard she cries every time that she sees me.... We're waiting to see if the nerve (whateveritscalled) abates.... if not, surgery again.... if so, I'm tossing this !@#!#$%@ walker ....... ahem..... I MEAN to say is that I'm going to carefully pack it away.. ya never know when something's going to happen, eh?

I hate browser crashes... it only seems to do that when I've got 20 or so browsers open of things I want to save.

I wouldn't mind trying it... I am not real happy with facebook at the moment.

Kat I hope things go better with your body sweetie!!! I can understand, although I don't have any back problems (THANK GOODNESS!!!) But I do have Neuropathy, and Fibromyalgia... Nerve problems suck!! Sending healing thoughts your way!!

Skidzz, I'll send your invite as soon as I get home, it won't work from my phone. It may be tomorrow actually, I'm babysitting for a friend and I don't know how late they'll be.
I'm so over Facebook too, I hope Google+ catches on because it solves some of the issues I have with FB.

And I added you to my "Face Painting Friends" circle Julie So how are you liking Google+? I think I need to convert more of my friends on FB before I get the full experience KWIM?

I am there as well (mail.lone.wolf@gmail.com), but don't really use it. Probably because I don't know that many people there. What I like about it is that people who add you to their circles, don't automatic is in yours.

The things with sharing different photos to different people is also in Facebook, it is just a little more hidden.

Here is another thing:
IMPORTANT! Artists and photographers. Make sure you set your privacy settings within Google Photos (ie. Picasa) to keep people from ordering prints of your images:
1. Click on Photos at the very top in the black nav bar.
2. Little Gear in the far right very top corner is your settings link for whichever aspect of G+ you are in.
3. Photo Settings > Privacy and Permissions
4. Unclick Order Prints and Download my Photos
5. Save Changes.

Does anybody else here hate the new Google print preview by the way? Hasn't got anything to do with Google+, I just spend two hours yesterday, trying to disable it - unsuccessful
