GOOGLE and web issues.. again HELP

Hi guys, sry for all the requests for help.. but I am lost!! I have my web page and I have verified it with google. Why isnt it showing when I search for it? what else do I need to do? H E L P lol

It is... just maybe not for the search terms you want.

These are your key words: "Face and Body Art, Birthday parties, Princess Parties, Corporate and Special Events, Fundraisers, Face Painting, Belly Painting, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Fairs, Fetes, Kids Party, Fesival, Creations Face Painting, Kylie Devic, Face Painters" Most of which do not appear in the body text of the home page.

Google looks for relevance. It compares what you SAY the site is about to what the text on the page says.

Also, Primary domain ( . com) will always rank higher than sub domains (.web.com)

sometimes it takes a while too for things to show up in searches... the bots have to find your site and it can take a little while. There are a lot of variables involved. As time passes, your site will move up the ranks as long as you keep updating it often and find places to create links to your site. After your domain has existed for one year, things get better again as well.

A couple of things that should help with rankings:
Go to all of the photos on your facebook page and title them with your website URL.
Put your key words in your signature on this site.
Put your city/area name in your key words and in the title of your page. In fact, make sure "face painter" or "face painting" is in your page title.

I was told google "reads" sites from left to right, top to bottom, and the first words it comes across are the ones that appear important.

I changed my "home" page to have the tab "makeup"- first and most important word for google.

The other thing you can check is to see what people type in to search when looking for face painters.

- Go to the google home page.
- click "business solutions" down the bottom of the home page.
- click "adwords"
- click "keyword ideas"
- type into the search box words you think people would search (face paint, face painting, parties etc- specific), you will need to type the security thingo in too.
- a whole heap of words will come up with the amount of searches people have done globally and locally. So you can see what words are good to put in your info. You can type in your web address to see what people search too- it's pretty cool.

Take these words and use them in the top sections of your tab and if you have an info page, use them in the first paragraph and ideally in the first sentence.

Google doesn't really read the page as you and I do. It is reading the code.
