I know we are behind, but I have to mention that you HAVE TO submit both step by step photos and a final photo if you use slide shows or videos to qualify.

I have PM'd everyone who needs to revise. This will be the last challenge that I remind folks as this has been clearly listed in the rules for months and months.

Great tribals all! It will be tough voting!

Head first, then wavy line for the body and tail

Make the tail thicker, and embellish, Add the back scales

Make the body thicker, and then add the belly scales


Add some arms, make them nice, with lots of muscles. Add some wings.


Put some fire coming out of the mouth. And embellish anything that you feel needs it. Then your done!!

I am putting up the voting today. There are some entries who are missing. I PM'd everyone that need to make updates to be included and only heard back from two.

omg, you guys are killing me. First of all, how the hell am I supposed to choose one to vote for??? and second, how in the world will I ever have the courage to post a contest entry with such amazing competition??? I think for voting I am going to have to skip my first couple instincts on the overall wow and awesome art factor, and buckle down on voting for the best TRIBAL line work, since that was the object of this particular challenge. Otherwise I would never ever be able to choose just one. Happy Voting, you guys are inspiring, intimidating, and depressing me all at once! lol

Kaci- just enter the challenges. It doesn't mattter if you win or not. I know I am not going to win tribal, but I learned so much just from being a part of it. That's how we grow as artists. Plus, obviously by your avatar, you have great talent! We may be able to learn something from you. That is what is so wonderful about this forum.

I am trying to think of it as practice and gaining confidence. I know I won't win but I need to get better at putting myself out there anyway. I have a hard time with feelings of not being good enough.

While I may not be good enough to win we are all good enough to enter and by entering we become better and who knows maybe someday we will win

That and having a variety of skill levels in the contests lets us learn at different levels. I may not be able to pull off the winners of some of these contests but I can learn a lot from most of the entries.

You guys are sweet. I know you are right. We are usually our own worst enemies, I know my biggest obstacle with starting this business is to believe in my self, build confidence in my designs, skills, rates, choices, etc...and to just do it. Thanks and PEACE LOVE and FACE PAINT to all of you. I am still thinking I'm going to give this sugar skull thing a whirl...
