Hi guys, long time no post.

Someone mentioned this book in a thread and I decided to take a look at it. I am horrible at giving "official" reviews, but I will say that this book can be a life-changer. It is so full of wisdom that even though it is intended to be a 12 week study, I get so much out of it that I kinda want to take my time to really chew on all the paradigm shifts! It does require journaling, which I normally HATE, but wow....now I feel empty if I go a day without it! Some people have problems with the God aspect, but she really makes a point that whatever your creative source is, to honor it. So far I have only been reading/journaling for a week, and I am AMAZED at the changes that are occurring for me. I am kinder to myself and others around me. My creative work is exploding - truly. It is such a personal journey that you will just have to give it a read on your own. The paperback edition is only $10 on Amazon.

Read it. Was very into it for a short time, but in the end I just couldn't commit to the journaling. I loved the idea of Artists Dates, but I always had a hard time fitting them in- then I would feel guilty for missing it. I guess I'm just not a schedule person. Also, the book was very um.. grown-upy?

My magic artistic insiration combo is SARK and Kerri Smith. When my kids were young I would read to them randomly from Succulent Wild Woman and I just bought another copy of Smith's Wreck This Journal for my 12 year old. Both authors make me feel young and inspired.

I have this book Jennifer and I actually started it a few years ago until I got sidetracked by a family emergency. Thanks for the review, I've been looking for something to help me get back to my inner artist and I think it's time to blow the dust off it and give it another go! I love to write, so journaling shouldn't be too too hard for me, it's the exploration process that has my knees knocking...
