What do you all wear to paint events?

We wear whatever is comfortable underneath our long embroidered aprons...


If it's outside and it's cold, we wear jeans and a jacket, if it's outside in summer we wear shorts and a colorful t-shirt (like in the pic), if it's a more formal gig we wear black pants and a white shirt, but always the embroidered apron with our company name on it. Anyone associated with us, (line manager, all face painters, etc) wear the aprons so everyone knows we're together. They have pockets for money and cell phone, and we can wipe the paint on them and they just get more colorful as the years go by! LOL We also wear something colorful in our hair.

We wear Vistaprint T-shirts (almost free) with our logo on it and blue bar aprons. Love the aprons for money, phone & camera so I can lock my purse in the car (I worried about walk-by theft.) My husband even wears the same when he's our line manager. I also like the apron for the occasional hand wipe and I wash them in cold with my black hand towels that I cover tables with.

I like that even in the worst circumstances, our logo is posted. The only thing I DON'T like is not enough skin to paint. I'd love to wear glitter fairies or roses on our shoulders. I might have to alter the sleeves but not a priority right now.

I picked up a bunch of baseball caps at Michael's today for 89 cents each! I'm going to paint lettering on them with acrylics and have my crew wear them when we are working together! Cheaper than shirts. And in my colours!

I need to come up with something for these cooler days. I've got two parties this weekend and both outside. One day is suppose to be around 60 degrees if I'm lucky. Hope at least the sun is going to be out!

I have a warmer costume that I wear at the market when it starts to get cold... my overalls are corduroy on that costume, my shirt is flannel and it's all big enough that I can add extra layers underneath. I do have plans to make a clown coat, but haven't found the time to get on that one yet.

Thes are all cool idea's, I'm thinking about just getting an apron and painting some designs on it.
