Re: Leaving the Nest... Wait... WHA-!? D,:
So, just wanted to give an update! I haven't been able to get on much at all because my internet at my apartment is crap But! right now I am doubling up on classes so not only am I serving y externship, but I am driving to South Bend 3 nights a week to take my word processing course so I don't have to go back after my externship and take it. This also means I will be finishing my degree a month earlier than planned. This ALSO means I have free internet access 3 times a week!
As far as the eternship goes, the first few weeks were really stressful, but things have gotten better. The staff at the hospital couldn't be more friendly and they have made the adjustment much easier. My favorite part is assisting with C-sections, I have helped deliver 8 babies into the world and each time is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I nearly cried during the first C-section I did.
As far as the apartment goes, it seems a lot more homey now, though I still have trouble sleeping there. My cat has since moved in with me, so I at least have some company and am not all alone. I made a video tou of my apartment that you can see here! I have since added a few items of furniture, such as a very small entertainment center and a microwave.
That's all for now, I willb e checking in more oftent his month due to my having decent internet access at school.

I'm so happy you're adjusting well & a furry friend can always make it better! What a blessing to be there for all those babies coming into the world! I'm so proud of you(I know I'm not your mamma, but I had to say it)!
