Glitter tatoo!!!
Wow! what i surprise i got when i went to Michael's... They now have glitter tattoe stencils, glitter, glue and they have facepaint. Not the snazaroo kind, no this is like wolf, tag they kind you really only get online. The brand is Tulip i had never heard of of they look pretty good i must say. Well it also worries me a bit because now its just out there and everyone is going to be buying and it might slow down my business.

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
I saw this at the CHA show in January when they introduced it. Tulip makes a ton of paint products already, like fabric paints and dyes, etc. The face and body paint is new for them though. I tried the products out and the paint seemed decent... not better than any of the major brands though. The glitter tattoo stuff is cool to be able to buy locally, and I liked the spray tattoo paint alot. I'm glad to know it's in stores now for last minute paint emergencies.
Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
I saw these at Michael's yesterday! I wanted to buy some glitter but I already had all the colors they offered... I wonder how the quality is though....
Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
I suck at reviews... but this is my review...
Colors opaque, as to the claim it does not stain... well I wiped it off right after I painted it and it left a stain.... I like them.

$20 for this set of 8 set of 3 gram paints (not very much paint at all)
Regular cakes were like $8 if I remember correctly.

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
I saw them at ac moore today and they look pretty interesting. I wasreally tempted to buy one, but 1) my no purchase rule and 2) I didn't have a coupon right then. I like the glitter tatt brushes and wonder how well their adhesive holds gems on the skin.
hmmmmmm a thought just occured to me.....if my daughter buys the stuff and say I just give her her money back...then I don't violate my rule right????

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
nope no staining from that.... FYI though... That stain is still on my arm and face and it hasn't faded one bit.

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
Well that's interesting because their very claim to fame is "non staining" it must have appeared like 4 or 5 times on the outside of the box. I guess they were counting on that being the "BIG" sell point to set them apart from other brands.
I don't stain either and I mean at all. I use DFX/wolfe mainly and have not had one color ever linger, shadow, or stain on me not even the greens, and not on my daughter, it would be interesting to see what this does.
The black looks really nice and it's great to know that I can just pop over to the store and pick up some if I were ever short on supply and needed more quickly.
The white looks nicee too...I wonder how well it goes over other colors.......hmmmm maybe that could be the same as the dippy pot. The small pots of paint look to be more of a creamy consistency than the larger cakes.
Suzy??? Can you try the white over top the black, purple, and red to see if it bleeds??

god this crap stains fast... wiped this off the moment after I took the picture... I would say within 3 minutes after putting it on and it stained. My face looks ridiculous!! I am going to return these to Michaels with the stain on my face and all...
I like the black though!!

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
Thank you Suzy and sorry for staining you even more. So ok not great but not too too bad.
So the white and black definitely worth getting. So odd that the darkest pigment is the one that comes off the easiest.
Hey did anyone notice they have a neon kit and they also say that it's safe non toxic blah blah bla...and no where does it say not to be used on the face as a matter of fact it says the opposite. So I can only surmise that it does not have the ability to glow in the dark. The colors seem really bright tho for regular light use.
Has anyone tried the neons....if it turns out they are a decent quality...problem solved on the issue of neons on the face

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
The stencils by themselves are 7.99 for 25 singular designs. It is 19.99 for the kit where you get 6 colors of glitter and bottle of adhesive and the brushes with 12 or 13 stencil designs. The glitters by themselves are 4.99 for 2 colors, the adhesive is 4.99 and the brushes are 6.99 by themselves
Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
I have successfully returned them... the lady laughed at my face and forehead!!! haha!! well... I guess lesson learned on those colors. I have enough black in my stock to last me a year so I think I will pass on those paints for now. I might get that black tattoo spray and try that out this weekend. Will keep you posted!!!!

Re: Glitter tatoo!!!
Thanks for the photos Suzy! I stain easily... I have a black tribal butterfly I demo'd on my arm yesterday that is still there, even after a few good scrubbings with about 3 different kinds of soap. That's what long sleeves are for though.
As far as the spray tattoo paint, I loved it when I got to try it. It lasted a few days on me... 4-5 I believe before it looked like it needed to be cleaned off. It was SUPER easy though, which is what I loved. I'm gonna try to get to my local Michaels tomorrow to pick some up and play.
