Help! Fantasy Shimmer Powder Palette or Ben Nye Lumierre Pallet
Okay, so technically I may already have the Lumierre Pallet, depending on whether my contest winner chooses that or the gift card, so this may be all for not... but I'm just curious if anyone has used that or the new Fantasy Shimmer Powder Palette from Sillyfarm.
I don't even know what kind of paints are in the SF one... it doesn't say. So I'm just curious about coverage and... shiny-ness. Anybody?????

I use the Lumiere Pallet.. a lot. There isn't anything wrong with it, and I would recommend it over loose powders, just because of messiness factor. When did Sillyfarm come out with a new powder thingy?

I love my Lumieres palette. the colors are beautiful.

Just recently, but they aren't loose powders... They are pressed. Just not sure what brands

I would love to know too because the new SG Shimmers look So Beautiful! I've been wondering the same thing!

Re: Help! Fantasy Shimmer Powder Palette or Ben Nye Lumierre Pallet
I just bought the SF fantasy shimmer powders... they look nice on but they are a mess. I don't see how they are going to make it into my daily kit. The powders are all loose and the containers are not sturdy either... they just look like they are going to spill over any minute. Had I known I wouldn't have purchased. Haven't had the pleasure of trying Lumiere pallet yet.

I have the Ben Nye Lumiere Pallet. It's nice & shimmery. I use it on those hot days when paints just melt off.

So what's the difference between Lumiere and Star Blends (besides the manufacturer)
Re: Help! Fantasy Shimmer Powder Palette or Ben Nye Lumierre Pallet
Also, when you have those hot days when you use the pressed powders, what do you all use for line work?
Pressed Powders for Face Painting
Starblends are by Mehorn, FLAT, MATTE colors, very easy to apply and cheap. The last FOREVER.
Luminers are by Ben Nye, shinny and metallic, a bit harder to use, and very expensive.
I have the full pallette of BOTH, and would not do without either product. Well, I don't carry all of the Starblends, but I do carry MOST of them.
This is an older photo of my kit, but the pressed powders are on the right.

SF Shimmers are a mess, they get all over the place, takes too long to use. I'm trying to decide what to do with them.
